Carpe_Deum Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 i had the max taken out frm mine 2yrs ago. the bank then claimed that it was a transaction verified by pin. even though i told them it was a cash machine scam. i told them to see my accnt that i would never withdraw that amt from a cash machine but in a branch. they refused to refund me anyway.then 3 weeks later i saw the head of barclays bank on sky talking about cash machine scams and how the fraudsters have cams that read ur pin as well as the fitted card cloner in the machine. rang up sky and they told me to write another letter telling the bank i had spoken to them, and they would be on their case... 7 days later i got a letter saying i'd been refunded Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
