Yung Fly + Flashy
People saying SWP's a bad signing obviously didn't see himplay last season. Yes he had a bad start to his Chelsea career. but he's gradually getting back to his best and on his day, he's more effective than lennon. I reckon lennon on the left and SWP on the right CAN work, but if Jol chooses to bench SWP, he's on HELL of a sub to have on the bench. Spurs fans should be grateful to have him
Spawn
Lennon is sh*t on the left. Actually sh*t.
Rsonist
This is not happening. Our summer spending is over.No one else will sign, only possibilities are either Boateng or Petrov, those 2, no one else.Signing SWP makes no sense, it will ruin Lennon's career. Nah Blud I
Lennon can't play every game....too much pressure on a 20 year old.We only have 1 out and out winger in the whole squad....SWP would be a good signing.I would play SWP on the left and Lennon on the right at home....away from home, only play 1 of them. Lenny
SWP a good signing for any team thats gonna regularly play him. SWP>>>>Lennon when given a run.how come petrov is going 4 so cheap,8mil???
Guest the_truth_hurts
SWPs quality when on form chelsea really dont use him enough. Can't see him at spurs unless Lennons getting demoted to bench. Vila or City look most likely but he should stay at chelsea and battle it out with Robben (might be off), Malouda, Cole and Kalou cause bar Robben i reckon he's a better winger than all of them. Dadinho
There are going to be more than 4 people playing in our midfield this season...If we're going to try compete for 4th place and in cup competitions as well, both Lennon and SWP will get plenty of games.
