ive never had jellofbut ive seen my housemates cook itits jus rice drenched in tomato sauce, just like evry other african meal (nigerian and ghanain) something and stew - main and mostly only ingredient = tin tomatoeuuummmmm, yum!!!ahahaharice and peas all day erryday

When I talk about jerk chicken, I'm talking about pan chicken, something that I know most on here havent tried.To me Sunday chicken is not Jerk Chicken, its just normal chicken Just 'cause it has a little bit of jerk seasoning is not jerk chicken to me. However, if your chicken doesnt have jerk seasoning then thats what I call "box fresh chicken".Theres not much better than Jerk ChickenI had jolloff once and I wasnt impressed. Wont rule out trying it again (contrary to belief)Also, Pan chicken and festival >>>>>> Your taste buds full stop (.)

Jerk Chicken is not saucy, thats why I don't go to many West Indian take aways coz they ain't got a clue. Another one that merks it is New Orleans Chicken, that is cooked in the pan, bare oil in the cooking though.Jollof rice is nice but far to greasy, not something i could eat every week, you can feel the oil on your chest after you eat it.

The people that cook jollof with too much oil get it wrong still.It doesnt need that much oil at all.My ghanian friend showed me the levels of cooking jollof with basmati. That is sick.

Thats why I tell people you havent had jerk chicken if you've eaten it from a take away or your madre seasoned it and sauced it up. Jerk chicken from yard, hardough bread and box juice >>>>>__________
