kinda got used to spurs fans getting too big for their boots already this season, but nah man let me get this clear - are you really thinking you're in any contention when it comes to getting a man like Hazard?

I would never even hope of receiving won money *if I somehow lost myself I probs wouldn't feel obliged to pay up to a forum user either tbh*, so let's put the account ghosting/sports room ban on stake maybe? never said anything about us getting him *in fact I think I actually did say it during the summer window that he ain't touching us either* so might aswell pipe down with the cheapest possible defensive talk.

and lol at "caring" if one got ghosted. I do believe there's a ignore user function that would solve this problem, so that's air aswell. it's more about putting money where your mouth is if you ask me.

I didnt know Harry had been there but there had been advanced negotiations and the player is interested.. I didnt post it as didnt want hysteria as per DMs post above as its not done and money will talk in the end i fear... However there was a chance to get him in Jan but Harry declined( i dont know why) although to tie it up in Jan would have been very difficult. JJetset clearly has excellent info

Why wouldn't they be in contention, in fact looking at it they seem to be the most suitable club after Liverpool(of course).

If Hazard goes to Spurs then Spurs will have to change their wage structure as I swear you'd have the likes of Bale, VDV and Modric wanting high end deals.

We are very suss on Hazards agent at the moment. We think we are being played but what do you do? Have to be in it to win it. The deal is still very much up in the air.

The agent obviously wants to make as much money for himself whilst the player genuinely will come to spurs.

You guys probably think its weird and but this as it happens all the time so you may think we are being strung along but this is honestly what happens commonly in all deals!

I reckon he will end up at a wealthier club but we have done everything brilliantly so far from Daniel to the directors to Harry and have made a really good impression on Eden.

Don't go getting upset if that happens as it most likely will but instead of finding a negative, look at is as glass half full that we are in with a great shout.

Agents are a law onto themselves really that's why you have to work with them to get things done but sometimes you just push back hard and hope it works too! (Luka)

See this new Fifa rule surely it means that not all teams can go out and spend silly money anymore? Obviously there will be loop holes but most of these clubs don't operate on profit so not sure if any club really wants to be having bidding wars for players that are not essential.

Lille want 50m Euros, I dont think they will get get that, infact I know they won't, but its clear, their intention is to get the best deal possible.

Only thing stopping a bidding war is the player going to his club and saying I've decided I only want to go to ____________, now between you agree a fee asap.

But he is not leaving for less than 25m, do Spurs pay that? and 25m would be seen as a "bargain".

Think where he ends up has a lot to do with who gets Neymar

If he goes Real Madrid which then that rules them out of signing Hazard IMO and can't really see Barcelona singing him, so that does not leave much competition for wages.

Looking unlikely atm that AVB will stay at Chelsea too, so if Jose was to go back I don't think Hazard is the type of player he would sign

Also can him and Silva really play in the same team? Both would be taking up the same sort of places on the pitch
