I'll set it off...Kidz In The Hall...Comprises of 1 MC called Naledge & 1 DJ/Producer called Double-OSigned to Rawkus Records...They've got the sensibilities of a A Tribe Called Quest but the rapper has got skills on the mic still...I saw them supporting Clipse when they had a gig here not so long ago...They had a decent stage presence for an act who've never been here before...They've just dropped a new digital LP called School Detention with Mick BoogieTook a listen to their album 'School Was My Hustle' a couple of weeks back...Nuthin' spesh TBH but had potential...Check out the songs, ''Go Ill, Wassup' Jo & Hypocrite'' if you can...9f762f13e3bb519f5a69b57dfb8f0744.jpghttp://www.myspace.com/kidzinthehall

i just agreed to work those 3 days (ineeeeedmoneyyyyyy)DONT WANNA HYPE MY OWN GUY, BUT THE LAST GROUP FLOWS WITH IT. ILL POST MORE IN A MINwww.myspace.com/joleondavenue 1377201577_l.jpgJo, Leon Biog Described in Blues and Soul magazine as âMellow Defianceâ, this St Lucian, Jamaican London born rapper/poet/vocalist/songwriter is looking to take the industry by storm on all fronts. Born in East London this young artist has always been a lover of music. Since a young age, he used to get a grasp on everything that had rhythm. At 12, he produced his first track, and at the age of 14 he recorded his 1st studio track and decided to pursue his passion, to finally create a new style, his unique rhythm âmood musicâ. Mood music is a mix of soul, jazz and hip hop. His delivery of lyrics is unique and inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds. He writes stories about peopleâs experiences or experiences he himself have gone through, and put feelings and emotions into it, as he feels music is a very personal thing and should come from the heart. People relate to his songs because, in essence, he abandoned the typical macho generic rap music, and focused instead on real life stories and message tracks. His lyrics creatively reflect his opinion and stories that he shares. Taking inspiration from various genres, JoâLeon was inspired by a variety of artists such as Mos Def, Jamiroquai, Earth wind & fire, Teddy Pendergrass, Bebel Gilberto and many more. His talent got noticed and gave him the chance to work with various artists and has supported acts and done various tours including prestigious tours. His remarkable voice especially seduced the female audience, regarded as the rap version of Barry White; being deep, sexy, and distinctive. His 1st mix album âMy Soul In Writingâ has been moving around the circuit with the stand out song âImagineâ, turning heads, and has had around 10,000 downloads to count to date. JoâLeon also made a video for it, reflecting his peaceful mind and talent. You may access it on his page as well as YouTube. Working along the well known artists from Texas such as the Grit Boys, part of the Mobetta label based in Houston, JoâLeon has âspread his wordâ to the other side of the world. His new mix CD âSomething Specialâ is very promising and demonstrates his wide range of musical types such as soul (Joel Brown), RnB, and Texan flows (Poppy of the Grit Boys)⦠His sound is now recognized by many over the Atlantic, as well as Europe. Aside of his vocal talent, Joâleon has the creativity to write and inspire other artists with his lyrics.

Im writing this based on the idea that the artist is "new" to whichever user hasnt heard of him, rather than an actuall fresh artist..Kidz in The Hall are deep, their "School was my hustle" album was real nice.. also listen to "Wheels fall off" from that albumC Rayz Walz - Crazy underground lyricist, been around for ages now, but is majorly slept on, check out his album "Year Of The Beast"Termanology, he cool, but..his type of rappin is kinna played out, he basically a Peurto Rican Papoose. Listen album/mixtape "hood Politics II" ..i THINK its volume 2, the track with Pap & M.O.P. is the best IMO, "Watch How It Go Down"He is more known than most i guess, but Immortal Technique, dude is the truth, nuff said. Revolutionary Vol.1, 2. <--His albums.Masta Ace- OLD school artist, most f*ckin slept on guy in history, check out his albums "Disposable Arts" and "long Hot summer" ...they his two most recent ones, they are sick, IMO he is top 5.Murs- Emcee from LA, NICE lyrics, good sense of humor, right amount of just about everything, and produciton on some albums completely done by 9th wonder, "Murs 3:16 The 9th edition" and "Murrays Revenge" both produced by 9th, 5/5 for both of em for me, make sure you check em out, "Walk Like A Man" is a DEEP track of off 3:16..Good luck niggas =z***EDIT*** Nice thread btw man.
