Whilst i appreciate that it has some distinctive trademarks, i dont think its enough to say its a completely new genre and anything more than a sub genre of garage (if that).. Its not different enough as even say house and garage.. I hear some people saying "I can't hear the similarities at all" and i'm wondering if their deaf or if they're trying to be objective for the sake of it..
