Won't make a difference Carrick, Hargreeves, lennon and Defoe wouldn't have steered England through with McClaren. England just needs a tactical coach who knows how to get the best out of the players, Sven was close but didn't do it when it mattered.

i just want to see good quality football, and i never see it with England. They get hyped when they win a game that they as a good team are supposed to win. They in actual fact (the nation that is England don't know themselves and their position)Outside of England i think teams lie when they say they think England are very good team, they always mention that they have very good players which is less debatibel, because i believe they have good players. England get bumped up because they have one of the best National leagues in terms of quality and excitment. This is not due to the Englishmen however. Seriously England only get respect due to their high profile league and high profile players in comparison. I dont hate England, i was born and raised in England, however i do NOT SEE myself as an ENGLISHMAN. Some of you may do so but that is you and your problem. I do not pledge myself to any NATION i favour certain cultures and nations more than others for various reasons, and these come into play. Whne England do do well i am happy for them. But i am not estactic and you wont find me drunk and merry over England winning any tournament. I have West indian backgroud and i rout for Jamacia when they are on a world stage such as when they got 2 France '98, however same ways as i do not see myself as a JAMAICAN i do not get upset when they loose either (and because they know themselves they are not good in comparison).Generally i support GOOD QUALITY FOOTBALL, and i will favour some teams over other teams for variosu reason such asArsenal players playing for the nationTheir footballing hystoryHow i rate them in terms of attractiveness football wiseThere resources and infrastructureDesirePolitics within the country.Players i likeThe mediaHow i identify with the nationAll of these points have some impact on how, if and to what degree i support a national team. Don't get me wrong I support us and want us to win but under McClaren and all these fans who hail this so called "golden generation" of players who are "world class" I've just turned against them. Far too much hype, not enough good football, players getting called up when they shouldn't.Flop when it comes to playing a team who are good technically and tactically, players who can't do it on the big stage for the country.
