The new editor wanted to expand the magazine's audience in order to feature all types of music that might appeal to a younger generation. In order to achieve this, the content of the magazine could not just change, but the general appearance had to as well. rwdmag.com underwent a huge redesigning process and during this time, the website was very unreliable. More importantly however, the website's popular and innovative forum was left down for almost a month.After a monthâs downtime, the rwdmag.com forum came back to life, but looked nothing like its previous state. Initially the users came back slowly, often protesting about the forum's appearance and usability. Eventually, a few of the core original rwdmag.com forum members created a new forum in the likeness of the original rwdmag.com forum - vip2.co.uk.rwdmag.com's forum has never fully regained its activity, and thus popularity, with the vast majority of it being lost to vip2.co.uk.
