S.A.S. will never get big love here cos they compromised their accents to fit in, no wonder they in no mans land wen it comes to a dedicated followingok i'm not saying they sound American like they did on that first Hot 97 recording, that was jus disgracefulbut they dont spit british, not in the slightest. then they top it off wit bait "oi oi" and "looooondon boysss" and that jus adds insult to injuryif anyone wants to argue that they don't sound American at times i'm a start upping tunes and breaking down certain parts of their bars
A lot of rappers compromised their accents and never been out of London... BUT your missing the point S.A.S lived in New York and Haze lived in Pasadena all of them on basketball scholarships, there accents naturally changed. I could find you the same tracks from when they was out there and when they was re-recorded here to show the difference in their accents. They have a following. A following that paid £16 for Streets All Salute here, not to mention the Americans who paid like £20 to get it. Remember I see the numbers.Lol at bars sounding American. Creamy its cool you dont like them init.
i kno about their scholarships an all that, but no one cares, people dont wanna see two guys callin themselves 'london boys' supposedly reppin the UK and not bein fully english with it, if u get my meaningand yeah, maybe i'm protesting too much, but its not that i dont like them, its that i think they're rubbish and i cringe at their music.anyway i'll end the rant there.

SMH. For the last time, S.A.S didnt call themselves "London Boys", Americians did from when they was playing b'ball, it stuck sooooooooo much so that they said f*ck it & ran with it. TBH I've never heard them even say it in London. They are "fully" English (born here), they rap in English accents, they rep the UK (in terms of hip hop artists in this country being known outside of it, they are known, which means they REP the UK).

So when them songs is getting on US mixtapes is it not helping Baby Blue, Sincere & Bigz the same way?Remember from '04-'06 S.A.S never left England, apart from European bookings, they well aware of whats going on out here. They dont intergrate with everybody in the scene, (well they would ask what scene?!) cos they dont like the fakeness & politically correct answers by certain artists & people in it, what I mean is they seen certain artists face to face and said artists will be like "see Streets All Salute thats SICK, thats probably one of the best CDs out of this country in years, I bump it regular" then later S.A.S will be reading/listening to a interview by said artist and they'll get asked so what other artists you listen too in the UK & the same artist will say... "Sway, Kano, Klashnekoff, Skinnyman, Dizzee, yeah thats it from the UK" its tiring how many people answer like this now, lets all answer with the 5 artists with the biggest fanbase so we can be cool by assiociation with them and hope I can get some of their fans...

Cool i guess it works both waysbut this point, its all clever marketing right, if i was a manager and had up and coming rappers i would obviously tell em to shout out the rappers who have the biggest fan bases it just makes senseAlso other artists arent gonna be like "nah mate ur mixtape is f*ck*ng sh*t" just walking up to them on the streetno one does that unless they wanna get at someoneBut at the same time it makes sense to say u feel them too, epsically when people saw them as Dipset mancus like u said if sas can help them then maybe more Uk Rappers will know Juelz, Cam etc

Its not clever, cos everybody can see thru it... Plus its FAKE. You cant on one hand say well its clever but fake marketing and then say on the other hand say you dont like S.A.S for being fake on natural things... SMH.No they wouldnt but S.A.S dont bring up their mixtape, the artist does. Either way again thats fake, something some of you are saying S.A.S are...If S.A.S think your hot, your hot in their opinion. It doesnt change cos your popular or unpopular. It only changes if your music gets shitter. Even when they was getting at Marcus Nasty & Nasty, they still say "Kano I like how you spit"

People think SAS are fake for the american ting like Creamy was sayingBut people who sound Uk to the Tee, i understand them saying the guys with thr big fan base cus its not like the Uk scene has much freedom anywaysMost Grime Artists are a example of that, whe they get signed they change to hip hop and use bait dipset style beats or run around with Mike SkinnerCus its not like the Uk urban industry gives people much freedom to make what they wantu have to essentially be a sweet boy and have that image inorder to get backingeither that or the new thing is jump on a Bassline/House track to sellUr average up and coming Rapper here in London wont and probally will never have the chance to go out to America for a few years and make big contacts "Pollo the don/dame dash" contact that SAS have, and have the freedom to put out what ever they wantSo i can see what its smart for them to comprimise to do what they can to build a fanbase...i dont like it but thats seems to be what needs to done inorder to break throughAlso Marcus Nasty and them havent had a good relationship with Kano at all, ever since Kano left Nasty to do his own thingSo i dont see how it affects them having beef with Marcus

Seen any one in the uk hip hop/urbanindustry is fake to a extend thencus the people who keep it real like Skinny and Klash are never gonna be chart toppersthat "fake is fake" can easily be applied to SAS, like creamy said they dont spit american but they certianly dont spit BritishIve come to realise terrorital comes into there hateIts like TI repping for Bank head and then finding out nah man hes from riverdaleOk they are British born in london but mans dont wanna see them blow world wide and then have people think "this is how london is"When they are using a style thats not fit in with the rest of the sceneAnd ur average Londoner/uk hip hop consumer doesnt give a flying f*ck iff they was out there doing whatever in the roads of america for years, they just here the music and dont have a Tf to tell them how it really is, they can only go on what they hearIm not one of these guys who thik there never gonna blow, im sure over in the states they can do a Chamillionare with "ridin dirty"hit the streets with a catchy selling singleand put out albums like that

oh for crying out loud. you're not listening to what i'm saying. no one f*ck*ng cares who called them what or how long they were in the states, you are missing the point again and tryna come thru and defend them with 'the facts'. no one gives two shits about the facts, they jus see wot they see and make their judgementwen some one tells you bout how much they hate 50 Cent and all that gangster sh*t, an you tell em "but 50 got shot 9 times, and his mum got murdered whilst selling crack, he's allowed to rap bout that sorta stuff", you aint gonna sway their decision, they already hate him, nothing u can do bout itSAS do not rap in English accents, they are CLOSE, but they sound confused. bare stretching their words out like a yank would. bare stretchin of any word with an 'a' in it. yeah yeah thats what happens wen you live in America etc etc, but they do it, i don't like it, and thats all i ever said. u tryna say they dont is jus dumb. on top of that they have no real grasp of UK slang IN THEIR RAPS, jus bait words like "cheerio" and "oi oi" which no UK rapper would ever try make their gimmick, and thats wot they are to the Americans, a US Hip Hop group who use bein British as a gimmick.an then u talk about them reppin UK, fair f*ck*ng play, but where did i say they didnt?

u missed my point. are they fully english in their style? f*ck no, so why would i want them reppin us?anyway, i'd love to stay and argue with you but i've got to go and pick up the kids from school, drop em off at Karate, then go get my prostate checked before the doctor's shuts, and before i do any of that i've got to wash all this yellow body paint off and put some respectable clothing on...u donut :D

Yellow = Thats what I was saying during "Gigz being road and SAS watering them down" arguement. People dont care about facts, its all about assumptions. We think Gigz is hard 'cause we know, dont think SAS are 'cause we dont.Bold = Truth, that is how they come across. It can work successfully for them out there but it wont run here because we are the people they are imitating. Could compare it to them "road drama's" like 'West10 Ldn' where if you watch but dont know too much about road life you think its an accurate reflection of street life. SAS rep UK away from here no question about it mainly due to Yanks not really knowing about UK. To us, in UK, it looks false or forced. Not neccessarily my feelings, merely stating how it appears

After seven pages and again me seeing this "nobody cares about the facts" statement.I aint discussing it anymore.Believe what you want to believe.S.A.S will never blow. Bigz & Baby Blue did S.A.S a favour and all the guys that NONE of you actually know about are real.
