nah bruv sheffieldtryna take me for any ignorant d*ckheadheres proof if u dnt believe meDear Jack,Application to read BA/History (V100)UCAS Personal ID Number: ************Thank you for applying to study History at Sheffield. We were impressed by your application and I am very pleased to confirm that we are offering you a place to study in our department. Hopefully you will already have received communication from UCAS indicating the precise terms of our offer.I would now like to invite you to attend one of our History Department Open Days. We strongly encourage all applicants to use this opportunity, as it will allow you to visit the department, learn more about the particular course that you have chosen and talk to both our staff and current students, who will be happy to answer any questions that you might have about studying here. You will also have the chance to tour the main University campus, see how you like Sheffield as a city and meet other prospective students.A programme and details of how to reply to this invitation are enclosed and if you would like to attend an Open Day it is sometimes a good idea to delay your reply to the UCAS offer until after you have visited Sheffield and seen what we have to offer first hand.At this stage in the Admissions process, it is hard to predict how severe competition for places will be when the examination results are published in August 2010. As a result, only applicants who meet the exact conditions of our offer can be guaranteed places but it is possible that we will be able to admit some candidates who narrowly fail to do so. We will of course look particularly favourably on those of you whose preparation for the examinations has been adversely affected by unforeseen circumstances and if you have any reason to ask for this kind of special consideration, you should ensure that your school or college writes to us with full details in good time. You will be receiving further mailings from the University of Sheffield in due course and details of university accommodation for students in their first year of study will be sent to you from March 2010 onwards, where appropriate. If you do not already have a copy of the History Department Undergraduate Brochure, which includes details of all our courses, you will be able to collect one at the Open Day, or you can request one on our website at www.shef.ac.uk/history/prospectiveug/request_info/form.html.We would also recommend that you take a look at our departmental web pages at www.shef.ac.uk/history/prospectiveug for more detailed information on both the department and the modules that you will be able to study.I very much hope that you will be able to attend one of our Open Days and look forward to welcoming you to Sheffield in the near future.Yours sincerely Professor Bob MooreSenior Admissions Tutor

I'm genuinely shocked.Although you can bet your life your offer would have been ABB if you hadn't included that. And you won't get any leeway if you don't get 3 A's, whereas on any other offer you might have.Clutching straws here.
 I don't believe he did include it, it just can't be true.JAS, login to your UCAS and printscreen the page that has the personal statement on and upload it

Deptford but i aint going greenwich or goldsmith thats about as much as I have got decided probably nowhere in London, its also hard for me because I am living in Austria right now so everything i check out is through the net.
Greenwich is the lick bruv. I said exactly the same thing last year. Put it this way, I turned down Brunel for Greenwich. It's a f*ck*ng awesome Uni mate. The life there is just superb and the teaching/support is top class. Don't listen to the paper ratings. Go to open days and see for yourself mate. However,do what I did..Access to Business @ Lewisham College 1 year level 3thenUniversity of your choice.

!!!!SWEAR DOWN!!! Oi i dont even know about Student Governor cos I was only there for like 2 months (Hospitality & Catering) but do you remember O-BOY getting slapped/Hair pulled!! lol sorry I had to mention that
Oh cool! Naaa, I don't remember that. To be honest, I had a busy year that year. Most of my time was balanced between getting my course work done, attending governing body meetings and strategy days as well as communicating and working on new ideas with senior management and representing the College at external events (met Ken Livingstone that year). I was also involved heavily with the Students Union that year and the following year I went on to be President of the SU.That's what I did that year anyway. Any fights went off, I wouldn't know but I'm sure the Principal Dame Ruth would have known! :D
