Noel Clarke Interview(Director, writer and star of Adulthood)http://www.pyroradio.com/index.cfm/act/int...w_details/id/58What do you want the audience to say when they come out from seeing Adulthood?“I want them to come and out and think that they just saw a good British film. I want them to feel that they’ve seen one of the best British films in a long time. This is one of the first sequels to an independent British film that they are going to see and maybe the last. You don’t get sequels to dramas in this country, you barely get sequels unless they are big budget studio films and you definitely don’t get sequels that are about ‘urban’ kids. So, this film, whether they realise it or not and whether they want to accept it or not, it is history in the making and we made it happen”.“I hope it will open up doors for other people to make films. At the same time, what I’m saying with this film as with Kidulthood, is that I want people to change their lives. It’s time to move on, to stop this thuggery and this street culture. I’m going to write different things now. It’s about progression and taking audiences into new areas.

I read something on the Metro the other day and man's 30.... :D Didn't look 30 in Kidulthood still.. But he's gettin his full lime light now.& its nice to see him progressing from Dr Who and whatnot.Regardless of how long it may have taken him. Hope he keeps up the good work

i rate noel clarke for what he has done, big big moves and he deserves credit for opening up the doors of film and tv to incorporate this side of british culture....and even tho his intentions are good and nobel to want to change this street culture...his movies are nt gona achive that tbh, the MAIN audience it will attract will only take the message the COMPLETE wrong way....its fine for adults or ppl who have grown out of all dat f*ckery and hype and found a path out, they will understand his true message, but all the youngers who this film will attract will just love how it glorifies road and wanna identify with that more.

Hold up man 30 and Director and writer the film , i give him ratings all this time i though he was some 22 year old guy who they got from the roadside.'Are you f*ck*ng dizzee blood'
Must have fitted his character perfect then. From when he was playing a 17yr (or however old) boy in Kidulthood.Black don't crack! No racism
