@thunim not saying that we all use the black card as an excuse. all im saying is that it is clearly an explanation for most things & cant be ignored. it is definately not the only reason for problems. every race suffers but i cannot feel for every race BUT my own but i can only empathise. & even when both white & black suffer you definately cant deny that black is worse off.
When you got that frame of mind that you are worse off then it will effect your every day life and you will regard most people around you as against you. Ever thought people might not choose you for something because of your personality or looks and not your race. Its easy to blame yourself not getting a job due to race.
i know it is which is why i review every time i dont get a job & i know oh i was just blubbering on on this one, i really didnt know what to say on this one, i didnt want that job anyways. but when im on point & answer every que fully & i know i looked more professional than the other person & had more experience (having spoken to the other person outside the interview room) & when i entered the room the woman looks at me like ima nightmare & the interview is like 5 mins long then i dont get the position & i c the other person working there.. what am i to think?? some things are easier to ignore but at times id rather not

see now it looks like your just running with that 'chip on your shoulder'....i work for a white man i bend my back and get told im not good enough...dunno doubt my boss thinks im beautiful...i get what your saying but dont you see that those points dont just apply to your race/any race anymore its power/status...employer employee not white man black man.i still get you thats the joke and thats my point as white man working to day i can still relate with everything your saying lol"Lets stop going on about the white man likes its all of the race and concentrate on the elite men that have ruled this earth. It shows show much ignorance when people talk about the white man like its all of that race that wanted slavery, wars, famine etc."see if that was said from the get go i probably wouldnt have botherd posting tbhon a side not people are going on like black men/kings wernt envolved in slavery and wernt hungry for guns power etcUNDERSTAND WHITE MEN DID NOT INVENT SLAVERY!!races have been doing it to each other for centuries from every part of the world.
i can tell u countless times that i have gone into an interview and could see i clearly did not get the job because of my skin colour if they had not ben able to tell from my name already. if u were to go into an interview with a black boy you are more likely to get it not because of ur skills but because u r white. the only reasons they employ black people is for the look (show me more than 1 black person working in toni & guy) and because racism is a crime now. black is not regarded as beautiful. ask vogue and mainstream cinema. ask estelle im sure in a yrs time she will be caramel when they are done bleaching her. ask whoopi 7 she will tel u y she doesnt get romance movies or a lot of movies now. its espeacially easier being a black man than a black woman when it comes to the argument on beauty. i could carry on with this one. slavery has always been around tribes yes. stronger tribes taking over another etc. guns where not present btw until the white man introduced them to those kings. greed is a sin that many pple possess im not going to justofy that. but sayign destroying a whole nation is ok because they where doing it already i dunno if i can agree with that.
regarding the beautiful talk...whoppi is butters full stop...your going on like evry white woman is seen as pengnaomi cambell and beyonce are seen as beautiful no? estelle is ugly not becasue of her skin because of her f*cked head tbh
this whole post especially the red killed ur whole argument and proved my point. i beg someone break it down to him.
i will gladly!!! lolnaomi campbell. shud i even start! u know her more for her attitude than her modelling career. what do u c more in papers or magazines? "naomi modells coture etc" or "naomi hits her maid"??? she is the drama that they need to make money. they franchise off her attitude. she is a joke & a picture they are painting of most if not all black women. that they have attitude & love their fake horse hair! kmt! naomi! the nerve u had to drop her name& beyonce! lol. i cudnt even tell the difference between her & shakira in beautiful liar. she is practically white. did u see that the lighter she got the more famous she became? look at writing's on the wall cd she is much darker & more black isnt she??? she is only famous because she is light skinnedwant to drop more names?? maybe you will see the pattern forming.
I was with you until the beyonce part. She is not only famous because shes light skin, thats taking the piss outta how hard she has worked.
ye i guess she has worked hard & i think she does have a beautiful voice. but imagine her wit darker skin is what im saying. its just made things easier for her

It happens to everyone when you go for an interview. Not saying that race dont come into it but to say every job interview you dont get chosen due to your race is pretty pathetic. It could have been because of your clothes, your hairstyle, the way you speak or a number of things. Its quite silly really that you are blaming all your failures because of your race. It happens but not on the scale you make it out to be.

They all have straight hair, straight nose and small lips from what I remember bar Meagan. All of which white man told us we had the opposite and were ugly for having. Big lips werent cool until Angelina, big bums werent cool until J-Lo. What do they both have in common?Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so why arent women like Serena Williams or India Arie classed as pretty? Even Lauryn Hill was rated as a beautiful black woman from what I can remember. I'm fully expecting "'Cause she's ugly", but that goes to prove my point. Why is she ugly?

Know what I like about the whole 'interview' thing is this...It's not even about straight 'racism' but if I'm an employer, and I get 2 Black people, and 2 White people...And they're competent on a similar level, chances are the Black person is getting employed.Reason being, on a basic level, people go with what they're familiar with. What they relate easily with...

im not a racist person or bitter. just if u give me something like this i will argue it for u. because if a person is going to come to me & say we are equals & we clearly are not i will tell u. & if u tel me racism is gone & it clearly isnt i will tel u because i have experienced it.but i dont walk around preaching that i hate white pple becuase i dont. i remember my heritage & my history but i just dont use it as a way of viewing other races in a negetive way. but at the end of the day being black comes with the history.& wen i sed successful pple i didnt mean footballers & actors only. i met even pple in uni, doctors, nurses, teachers etc. & i used the media as an example because it outlines it more clearly

Know what's funny about that comment? You're talkin' as if those things are exclusive to White women and curves, full lips etc are exclusive to Black women....And India Arie, Serena? Why ARE they 'ugly'? They're ugly for the same reason the likes of dozens of White women are....

I did initially mean in the eyes of the media, but f*ck it, every man in here is the same. Most worship black women with white features. You just dont think its that.Your missing the point, these things dont bother those of us who have confidence in ourselves and dont really watch face, but what about those girls who look in the mirror and think they look butters or theyre fat because they dont fit in with what the media portrays as beauty. Yeah white people go through the fat thing, thing is when its your colour your pissed

Why wouldnt racism bothered you?Why the hell should you be abused, made to feel lower, subject to disgusting taunts, being spat at and generally feel uneasy because of your skin colour.

LOL at the cop out.You probably did not get picked for your interview because your ugly or went into the interview with the wrong attitude.Im sure you will have a hard life blaming all your failures due to white people. You dont understand so lets leave it at that.

So wait, White girls speedin' up their way to skin cancer has nothing to do with colour?Lol...001, sign up to ProfilePic and check...White girls have insecurities that have roots in race/colour JUST as much as Black girls.
