This is a topic where I will share my money saving tips. With my help on bank refunds and tax rebates I have earnt RWD/VIP2 members at least £6,000. Many more used my advice but didn't let me know how you got on so this figure could be higher. Bookmark this topic as I will be updating it regularly. My first lesson kids - the "Paypal B.S"Tried and tested from 2004-2007, this is perfect for struggling students after a little extra cash to help pay for those school books.1. Sign up to paypal2. Confirm all your details and add a bank account. you MUST fully verify your account which includes adding your bank account.3. after about 1 week when your account is now fully verified, sign up to ebay and "link" the 2 accounts.4. once this is done, buy a few small items from ebay. Spend about £20 on little items (such as toothbrush, white t-shirt etc). Do not buy everything at one go, leave a day or 2 before purchasing the next item.5. MAKE SURE you leave feedback and receive feedback. Build it up to about 8 or 9.6. wait another 7 days and then go back on eBay, choose any item/s up to the value of £499 and PURCHASE.7. When you first bought from paypal you would have noticed that the only payment option they gave you was "credit/debit card". Now when you get to the payment screen it will say "more funding options". Click this and choose "bank transfer"8. Your goods are now purchased. If you have £499 in your bank account it will be debited from the account after 3-4 daysHOWEVER9. If you wish, you may now log onto your internet banking and transfer the money out. Then cancel paypals direct debit.10. After 3-4 days you will receive an email from paypal saying the payment bounced and your account is now negative. If you pay them back = your fine and dandyif you ignore the emails = you'll receive the same kinda letters as when you don’t pay a phone bill. The above situation is NOT fraud if you "accidently" deleted the direct debit. it IS classed as fraud if you purposly follow the above steps with the intention of not paying.DISCLAIMER -: the information above is a joke and should not be tried by anyone.

Surely the goods don't get shipped until paypal receive payment/authorisation for the payment..And if they receive authorisation, you'll be unable to transfer the money

On the sellers account, the payment shows up as "completed". Its only after the direct debit fails that paypal changes the status on the sellers account. This is why its best to buy your items from a "fast shipper" because they will send the item straight away, as opposed to a "normal" seller who might work mon-fri so doesnt send the item for a few days then the payment status changes.DISCLAMIER-: the above is a joke.

isn't this illegal and actually detrimental to your debt cancelling plans? im srsly askin i just got a credit card the other day and im wondering what to buy.

you need to allow credit cards, it's a liability.

nt if u use them right n maintain themitll b hard to get certain credit if u havent had cards for a few years or maintained a current account for 5+ yearsmortgages and the likenuffin 2 think about now, but think in 10 years time, if u gt 2 cards n payin them off nice then ur credit profile will go through nice
