"WINGATE insisted he would attempt to ascertain the wherabouts of SIMS by contacting his associates, and that he would call me if anything new developed.Later that same evening, I was contacted by WINGATE, at which time he provided me with information regarding the wherabouts of GINA CONWAY. During this conversation, WINGATE denied having any contact with CONWAY. WINGATE stated that "the streets are talking" and he beleived that CONWAY would also return to her job at the Sin City Nightclub because she needed the money. WINGATE also stated that he is aware that CONWAY is "laying low" in an apartment located at 480 St. Nicholos Avenue, New York, NY. According to WINGATE, if we conducted surveillance at this location, we would be able to see CONWAY coming or going through the front door of the apartment building. WINGATE stated that he did not know specifically which apartment CONWAY was staying in but that she was definately staying in the building. WINGATE stated that he would continually contact me with relevant information as it came to him.On September 27, 2006, I contacted WINGATE to ascertain if any new information had developed, and WINGATE stated that he felt that his telephone was "tapped" and that he did not want to talk on the telephone. As a result, WINGATE and I arranged a meeting near the George Washington Bridge. At approximately 10:20AM, Vetective Brian Griefer of the Bergen County Proscecutor's Office Special Investigations Squad and I met with WINGATE, and I requested that he make further attempts to locate CONWAY and SIMS, and more specifically, I directed WINGATE to obtain the apartment number that CONWAY was staying in. WINGATE stated that he was positive that CONWAY was staying in the apartment building that he had previously given (480 St Nicholas Avenue NY, NY), and that he would make further attempts to find out which specific apartment she was staying in.WINGATE reminded me that he was cooperating with the investigation, and he stated that he did not want me to forget that he was helping us out when he had no obligation or requirement to do so. I acknowledged his cooperation and thanked WINGATE for his efforts prior to us terminating this meeting.At approximately 2:15PM WINGATE contacted me and stated that CONWAY was staying in"
