do you think 5 years from now man city will be winning the title season in season out?I dontI think the preimer league will be more competativeif you wanna win the league now you need to spend money days of having local lads reppin ur team r gone if you want to see that go and watch non league footypeople are talking about a transfer/salary cap not needed imothis money man city will spend will help finace other teams and help spread the wealth because now ac milan will have to buy someone or use the money to help finace a new stadium if they can not buy the san siro because it is need of repairs and as they dont own it they can not do sh*teven if they build a new stadium that will create jobs and the sale of kaka would of helped fund that a bit so the money does spreadsame with chelski as much as i was opposed to them the money they have spent has spread across helping the game but then again man city have one of the best accademys in england now when are there starlets gonna shine?going out on loan to championship side til they are 22 and then get shipped out to a mid table preimer league team like we see so often with man united/arsenal/liverpool/chelskito me its just adding another team that can compete for honours making the league more better over the past ten years there have only been 3 diffrent teams to win the preimer league over the next ten would you not prefer it to be 6 other teams to have won the preimer league top 4 monopoly gone etc?

i think i was vex when chelsea were brought coz i knew they could supass us which they did dospurs/villa/hammers fans will be upset because man city will supass them just get over it its good for the league
This has nothing to do with any club in particular. Even City. Its about the spirit of the game, the morals of the sport. All have which evaporated in my view in the last decade, and things are just getting worse. This goes beyond being entertained for 90mins at home in your armchair, its about the sport on a whole.

what has this changed? what morals of the sport have changed? there have been clubs splashing money about since before we were born.its just a more extreme method of what every club in the league has been doing for yearsthey are not buying success, they are just trying to compete with the rest of the top clubsthere is no guarentee it will work at alland even if they do get some success, if they dont build the club properly they wont have any sustained success with it, which is exactly what seems to be happening at chelseanone of the top clubs in england will sell to them, no matter how much they offerall they are doing is making english football more competitiveif kaka goes there, he wont be motivated for them and you can guarentee there will be some sort of get out clause if things dont work out for themthe only people i feel sorry for in all of this is the citeh fans, unless it works out for them

Ok, in regards to the City deal with Kaka...The thing is Hughes is actually trying to do things the right way. He's making bids for players he's worked with in the past and has got the best out of. This must be as sureal for him as it is for everybody else. This could be the deal that destroys English football one way or another. I'm so f*ck*ng serious about that.Because of many reasons, inflation in the current climate would go sky high, as we are already witnessing, the gap between England's top 10 clubs and the rest of the leagues would be Grand Canyon sized, more smaller clubs will go into administration, survival would be what football is based on. I dont want that, the deal has so many more negatives on a whole than it does positives. There is such a bigger, wider picture here than what it seems on first impression, i dont want to go essay writing about it, but im sure the ones who have a brain on this board can understand and if not, maybe try to understand where i am coming from.

hull, wigan, bolton and fulham are all proof you can get up the leagues and stay therestability & good management>throwing money at problemsciteh signing kaka for 100mil is no different than chelsea signing essien and drogba for 25mil a piece, or united buying veron for 30milits just a number that changes nothing, bar the amount of money within the gameeventually it will raise the price that players go for in the market, but if man city are pumping that money in to football, who cares? it's just a number which bares no relevance to anyone except chairmen
