behringer djx700 is a good cheap mixer. look it up
Yeahh, this is probably the best for a cheaper start out thingUsed to have one of these, very good quality aswell and allows for some extras to be used with it (e.g. Kaos pad)Only problem i used to get with this (even with my current one to some extent) is that the recording level is at a fixed volume, so you'd have to mess about with all your settings on your pc rather than the mixer before you record because if you just plug it in and record straight away itll be distorted to f*ck

I got a vestax something something, can't be arsed to check tbh, but it's white and orange and has 3 channels, bass mid and treble eq for each, multiple outs, and a couple aux sends, weren't too expensive either. Don't buy a cheap one, unless it's second-hand or something, i got one by Gemini beore and it was f*ck*ng awful, the x-fader constantly leaked and the left speaker on the left deck would randomly cut out.

Off topic but DJ/ish relevant.... don't ever get a Behringer BCD3000 DJ midi controller/interface. Just been using a brand new one and it cut out bare times, with some ASIO driver message, using the latest drivers and it still messes up during a mix.
i have the bcd2000f*ck*ng SWAG! doesnt even work how it should.....going on ebay this week....

It has it's own ASIO driver. Actually thinking back it was the thing itself that kept cutting out. Like it would work - then stop while mixing in a tune. Then the software (Traktor or VDJ) would stop playing at all until you turn it off and load it back up, then at times you get the driver message when loading up the software and when that comes in I assume it meant it wasn't working at all because no MIDI controls would work from it either.
