Yeah ITV had a good one.Jibbles: The reason I say he's a c*nt is because of his excuses. The entire season he spent saying "it's the car" or "we're just not competitive", when really Rubens had the exact same car and always managed to out perform him.+He's occupying a seat that ALOT of up and coming drivers could be given a chance with.Think Alonsos taken a cut as well.C/S Brawn though, top bloke, met him at silverstone last year.

Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group is to invest in Formula One for the first time as a significant team sponsor after a deal was reached with Brawn GP whose driver Jenson Button is the surprise favourite to win Sunday's Australian Grand Prix. The multi-million pound deal is expected to be officially confirmed in Melbourne tomorrow by Branson who is thought to be on his way to Australia. The deal is the first big sponsor signing for the Brawn team which was saved from winding up by a management buyout led by team principal Ross Brawn after Honda decided to quit the sport last December.Until now the Brawn cars have run in pre-season testing with no commercial branding apart from the Brawn GP logo and that of the Formula One tyre supplier Bridgestone. But a senior source at the team indicated to The Times on Thurday that under the agreement with Virgin, which was being seen a huge step forward for the team, the cars will carry extensive Virgin branding, though Branson's company is not thought to have acquired title sponsorship rights.Bernie Ecclestone, the Formula One commercial rights holder, confirmed that a deal was reached in the last few days and said the size of the Virgin financial commitment has still to be worked out in detail. The deal follows negotiations earlier this year between Virgin and Brawn, amid speculation that Branson was considering buying the Brackley-based outfit. However those discussions came to nothing a month ago when Branson said Formula One needed to be more cost-effective and would have to use cleaner fuels before he could get involved. "I think there are faults that would need to be rectified before we could go into Formula One," he said. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/for...icle5980935.ece
Lewis Hamilton’s disenchantment with the performance of his McLaren Mercedes in the build-up to the new Formula One season is such that he admitted last night that he may consider switching teams.McLaren have been so far off the pace that there are some who think the world champion may fail to make the top ten in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, and Hamilton’s frustration appeared to be reflected when he said publicly for the first time that he could leave a team he joined to drive karts as a 13-year-old in 1998.“I haven’t had offers from other teams and I am not talking to anyone. But I would listen to an offer from another team if someone asked me,” Hamilton, 24, said. “It would be a great compliment and it would be silly if I did not.” http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/for...icle5979539.ece
Where as Lewis has now said this;"I’m happy where I am. It doesn’t really have any grounds. All I said was that it’s quite cool if you find out other teams are interested in you. It’s good to know you are wanted. I honestly want to see out my career with McLaren. I do feel it’s my family, it’s where I am right now and it’s where I’m happy"New gets better for Brawn GP where as McClaren goodness me sort it out.

The beeb>>>>Proper loving that Brawn car looks f*ck*ng mint.Williams looked strong too, but Im still not 100% on this KERS thing. Is it like a speed boost during the race or something?? And ow many races can they use it in?
KERS is like a store of energy. As the cars brakes/decelerates, it stores the energy usually lost and fed back into the car as it accelerates.Think the limit for F1 is 400kJ per lap.

After all this, I await another MOAN about the Brawn's car.Hang tight them for the 1,2.As for Hamilton, looks like he'll be retracting that statement again and saying the original was the truth soon. Majorly dissapointed with the McLaren team. But we'll see what happens.
