Met a client for the first time (having spoken on the phone and in emails etc previosuly) and shook her hand then lent in for the kiss on the cheek thing, she really wasn't expecting it but as I had already lent in I had to fully commit to it. Felt like a really rapey greeting. I just laughed it off, said something like "We're all european now..." and then ran off back to my desk.
