TF S4DK
Arsène Wenger had mixed injury news to report when he spoke to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon.Bacary Sagna has recovered from his ankle injury and should be fit for the visit of Stoke on Saturday. However, Theo Walcott has a collected a short-term hamstring problem and will miss out.Alex Song is suspended after receiving his fifth booking of the season on Wednesday at Manchester City. But, on the upside, the manager revealed that Robin Van Persie (ankle) and Kieran Gibbs (foot) are both recovering well from recent surgery."We had Sagna out injured [before] but, normally, he will be available," said Wenger."However, Theo Walcott will not be available. He has a hamstring injury."As for the other players we had injured, the long-term ones I do not even speak about. But the players who looked to be shorter - like Clichy, Diaby and Bendtner - will not be available. And, of course, Song is suspended for the weekend."Gibbs and Van Persie are in the longer-term bracket but thankfully both are on the mend after surgery."Kieran is doing very well," said Wenger. "I had him on the phone and it looked to be completely fine. I have not talked to Robin yet but there again the news I got from the surgery was it went very, very well. There was a lot of disturbance on our side recently [about his injury] but the surgery went well."Fabainski (iHope)Sagna Gallas Vermaelen TraoreDenilson Fabregas Ramsey/RosickyNasri/Rosicky Eduardo Arshavin

Guest R9
tbh they have had good CM's, but Song is the only player in their whole squad with a slight, slight, slight bit of aggression about himCompared to the rest of the Arsenal 11 he looks like Brock lesnar

anelka
We can do better in that position..Dnt just settle for Alexandre Song, coz hes the only bulky lad in the squad...Hes been doing well, but hes not the answer at the moment, well not 2 take us fwd anywayStill question marks about his reading of danger, reading of the game, snuffing out danger & tracking runners.. TF S4DK
Song is God, suck your mums init.Gassed reply but I aint talking seriously with unserious people like anelka.Man wants Song at 22 to be Makekele in his prime, Makekele wasnt even "Makekele" at 22. Man aint even played 100 games yet.
Guest Tulse Hill
Song has cost us too many goals, whats point of being able to do tricks and have sick first touch in a position that requires being able to hunt down for 90 mins, tackle, tight marking, stamina - all things Song doesnt do for his roleSong would be better AMC, its like hiring a man with no arms to become your pub goalkeeper

TF S4DK
Why are man hyping Merida or Ramsey as starters. The lessons of Diaby & Denilson haven't been learnt to everyone I see. Not everyone can be Cesc.

Michel Kane
LMFAOSome of you man aren't serious.Drop Rosicky? SMFHSong's over-rated? I ask you man, what's the definition of over-rated? What's BEEN SAID that justifies, the remark?I remember asking this to Anelka & he had AIR for a reply.
MetaFives
Song > Anyone's life.Too many clueless people. If Song played in midfield yesterday we would have had half a chance, how was he our best attacking outlet in the match despite playing centre back?Song is not overrated, he's been our most consistent player this season.Ramsey and Rosicky, in their spells, have been half the player he has.LOL @ me taking anelka's bait. Guest Tulse Hill
Tell me this,Who would be a better defensive midfielder for our team?Mascherano or Song?I'll reiterate the word DEFENSIVE for youa. Intended to withstand or deter aggression or attack: a defensive weapons system; defensive behavior.b. Of or relating to the effort to prevent an opponent from gaining points in a game or athletic contest.c. Performed so as to avoid risk, danger, or legal liability: defensive driving; defensive medicine.Fact is, Mascherano would be the answer?Yet we settle for a player like Song who is more a Pizzaro, Veloso, Mikel type midfielder who is too slow too attack so he settles for deeper role. The last defensive midfielder we had was Vieira and look what we wonI'll reiterate the word DEFENSIVE for youa. Intended to withstand or deter aggression or attack: a defensive weapons system; defensive behavior.b. Of or relating to the effort to prevent an opponent from gaining points in a game or athletic contest.c. Performed so as to avoid risk, danger, or legal liability: defensive driving; defensive medicine.Denilson is the closes thing to Vieira we have ever had.
