Taking Huddlestone out may not be a good idea tbh though it does give room to keep 2 strikersTheres a reason you are 5th? now in the prem looking more dangerous than you have for a long long while with a genuine chance of coming in the 4Obviously its not ALL down to him but his contribution cannot be ignored, he's started every single premier league game this seasonPlayers like Him, Carrick, Alonso (the latter two are a step above imo) are VERY underrated but they do an invaluable job in their respective teamsthey aren't eye catching or hollywood as the likes of Gerrard, but they are very good passers of the ball, not only technically being able to find the pass but mentally being able to see it, choosing the right pass (not always the killer one), disciplined & calm on the ball n rarely give it awayTbh its why we dont ever look glamorous in midfield as some other teams do but still pass teams to death and have done so for a number of years with much more ease than we did for a year or two before we had carrick, the same way we do / did it in the cl I've always though Hudd would be better suited in Serrie A due to his immobility (even though has lost weight/gained fitness he still turns like a bus, I saw him get a few seconds late to about 4 challenges last night that most players would have made sheerly because he looked like he was ambling everywhere)BUT, then thats why Palacios is in the team, you gotta play to your strengths, you don't ask Huddlestone to chase people around just like you dont ask Lennon to put crunching tackles inKey with Huddlestone is to get around him and stop his passing game, because if you can disrupt that, he isn't going to offer much elseModric can do the same BUT IMO he is better when he comes in off the left wing (where he played a LOT for Croatia) or just behind the forwardsI'd rather him further up the field tbh
