lol @ Thais and Indians making them kinda decisions.

Like them fools getting rid of Allardyce to put Kean in the job.

Worst management decision I've ever seen in football.

Not really. From what the owners invested and his season last season and their current form this season it was expected. Zero consistency from Leicester.

This is their form this season: LWLWDDDWDWWDLLWW

This is their league form: LWLWDDWDWDLLW

Not won consecutive league games at all, all season.

Sven's really struggled this season. I said in pre-season the defence (besides in the Millwall game) has been fine, that was the problem last season and if I'm honet they've done well to plug that but it's the midfield and up front that has been really poor.

He chose to use the diamond but decided that wingers weren't needed - huge mistake. Shades of England and Scholes and Heskey.

I said from pre-season the midfield will struggle and they have.

They've struggled to play the ball forward with any conviction. Johnson has looked good but played about 4 games. King is far from what he was last season. Fernandes has been decent at times but other times the game passes him by too easy, not strong enough or dogged enough for Championship football. Abe has been poor, he's meant to be defensive but doesn't protect the back four for shit. Wellens has shown glimpses of form and I think he has the best range of passing but it seems like the other players aren't on the same page as him.

All central players. All haven't controlled games as they should - if you're gonna play a diamond then you've got to be able to play the ball forward so you can create chances for your strikers, no point having all that possesion and doing nothing with it.

Take Birmingham the other week, had the ball for 45 minutes and what they do with it? Pass the ball in front of Birmingham's defence the whole half, no urgency to try and break them down and they were unable put telling crosses in cos they don't have wingers. Come the 2nd half Birmingham woke up and attacked down the wings, Beausejour hits the bar, minutes later King then trips Beausejour (who came in off the wing) and they win a penalty, all came from the wings.

Then Mills; although I said the defence has been strengthened, he can be a liability with his lunges, goes in two footed and gets himself sent off and from that moment the game was done.

Too much was expected from the full backs, Peltier and Konchesky. He tried the diamond and it failed, Leicester are not what Ancelotti's Chelsea were, they've not got Cole or Bosingwa as WB's.

The irony is with Sousa at the helm, this Leicester squad would be top, why? Because Sousa's Leicester carved out chance after chance but had nobody to finish but with Nugent, Beckford, Schlupp and Vassell, Sousa's team would have steamrolled a lot of teams.

He relies more on his physical poweress that's what set him apart in Serie A and on the continent.

Kaka is very good technically don't get me wrong but it terms of technique and vision I know and seen better players

I would put Cantona above him talent wise.

Really?

I take it your a United fan?

Cantona ain't even the best foreign player of the early premier league years.

Bergkamp was above him talent wise, and Zola was close too.

Ask Bergkamp and Zola how they were eating when Cantona was around?

You couldn't win anything unless Cantona was banned/injured.

Lol not the best argument to use, Berkgamp was more technically gifted than Cantona period, i don't want all that extra shit United fans like to talk about like 'Influence' and 'Swagger' when strictly comparing them as footballers.

Perfect argument to use because while Cantona was playing Arsenal weren't winning Leagues.

You were a cup team like Spurs.

You only won the league when he retired.

He won the league in England every season he played, only time Man U lost the league is when he was banned and Blackburn won it and when he retired and you won it.

Bergkamp or nobody infact never bossed England like that.

Bergkamp had exquisite tekkers but Cantona used to do equally ridiculous things.

Goal against Wimbledon side footed it up in the air and volleyed top bins.

Goal against Sheffield United when he just stopped and chipped the keeper and just stood there.

Volleyed it over Kharins head from the half way line against Chelsea and it hit the bar.

He won everything then retired at 30 lol

You're doing it again.

Arguably the last player since R9 to balance out athleticism & technical EXCELLENCE to such devastating results.

Not quite everything

Was any guy outside England(can only remember him bossing Porto nobody else in Europe always found wanted especially the way Kolher/Sammer locked him down.)

Zidane on the other hand won everything including ballon dors.

Scored winners in UCL/WC finals/ scored and got sent off in another WC final

Retired at 34

Don't get me wrong he was elegant but your starting to get Kaka confused with someone like Rui Costa in terms of technical prowess.

Like I said before Kaka's pace and mad accerlation was more evident than this said technical abilities

Leicester have bought so many players and are so close to 3rd place it makes no sense doing it now.

Shoulda gave him till Xmas to get accustomed to the squad, who you gona get in now?

O'Neill?

He been out of management a while and will need time with the team aswell.

Keane?

Don't be silly.

Retiring at 30 and then turning up as the French Consulate in the film Elizabeth part 2 is taking the piss.

He won everything in England and arguably would've won the Champs League if the 3 foreigner rule didn't affect us so badly.

We woulda won Europe them times, CERTS.

Aime Jacquet even said if Cantona didn't get banned for so long he woulda been leading France @ WC 98, the team woulda been built around him but the rest did so well when he was gone he had to be fair to them.

Lol, I realised you meant the Blackburn decision after I posted. Blackburn decision was the worst, I agree with that.

Yeah, you could say the timing of this makes it a strange decision. But we all know in football now, managers are not given the time.

I think it's the lack of consistency which has cost him if anything. After all he did have a full pre-season and the players he wanted, he chose not to sign any wingers.

I'd think the thinking behind it is, is to give a new manager time to settle overt the next couple months and then come the Jan transfer window they'll know what direction to take the team in terms of style of play.

The Championship isn't like the Premier League, teams can come from far down the table and make a big push, I remember Reading were quite far down the table last season in February and come May they had made the play-offs quite easily.

Unfortunately for Sven the way his Leicester have been playing, it didn't look like they were going to string anything together a run of good results so I think they decided to let him go.

Who will replace him? Good question, you're guess is as good as mine. Wouldn't say it's the most appealing job, Keane could do a job like he did getting Sunderland up but that's as far as he'd be able to go.

I think my rant was more at how disappointed I was at the owners and Sven too. The owners for how they treated Sousa and replaced with him Sven and it not working out. Sven because he went with the diamond and had no other plan. I really thought transfer deadline day he might sign a winger or two but he didn't even try, was a disappointment from them.

About Sousa, he was a good manager, he did brilliantly at Swansea and had Leicester playing good football, the results weren't good but they only gave him 9 league games, had they stuck with him he would have got them firing. It's funny how a team who created so many chances and were just failing to convert them are now a team struggling to create chances but with a good strikeforce at Championship level.

It's also a shame Sousa'a now managing in Hungary.

Have you ever tried to chip a ball with your weaker foot?

One of the hardest things as a footballer to do, because you actually have to control it and it takes a lot of skil to do with your strong foot let alone your weaker foot. I've got away with smashing 25 yard shots into the corner with my left foot by using the balls momentum and simply swinging my foot, but perfecting a chip like Van Persie did last week i've never managed to do.

And the execution was TOO natural. Nah, RVP = both-footed, I'm sorry.

Lol nah he's not both footed.

Chipping a ball with your weaker foot is one of the easier techniques, not sure what this guy is on about tbh

Van Persie isn't both footed at all

If this is football manager

his left foot is a 19

his right is 13

Very one sided dribble, his right is more than just a standing leg, but he's far from both footed

Anyone who disagree's I can only assume is very one footed themelves, therefore thinks any degree of use with the weaker foot equals ambidexterity

Pedro is two footed, Nani is pretty close to being two footed, RVP isn't

Sousa team was sick in terms of possesion and as a defensive unit they created a lot of chances so imagine if he had the likes of Nugent/Beckford/ the 18 year old with the S.

Yeah he is with Videoton(sp) I am seriously hoping the national team make it to the euros and perform horribly so Sousa replaces that c*nt Bento.

If Sven was deploying the diamond was Abe at the bottom and King at the top so where did Wellens fit into that system?

Speaking to people who were about and of a decent age at the time, and also looking back now, that 94 team were disgusting at times and devastating all the time.

Had the right valance of everything, grit & determination. Flair, effectiveness, defensive solidarity. Everything,

That 94 11 beats any other United team I've seen in my life time, excellence personified!

Foreigners rule raped us completely, coupled with some tactical naivety......

If we had signed Shearer to partner Cantona................

Kanchelskis Ince Keane Giggs behind them.

I was horribly one footed and I can see RVP is nowhere near being 2 footed, he is getting decent with his right but he still swings it certain time.

Huddlestone is pretty 2 footed, Nani I would agree with, his crossing/shooting ability is fantastic either foot, Kaka is 2 footed as I showed prior.

John Barnes could actually curl the ball top corner at ease both feet.

Michael Carrick is pretty naturally 2 footed

Van Der Sar was equally great with both also

Being very good in England is very different to being very good on mainland Europe.

Three foreign rule was a killer for Sir Alex but however I am sorry Capello's Milan(really Sacchi's) and the Dream Team would of been too much for that Manchester United even with Shearer in it.

Could Bruce and Pallister of handle Klinsmann and Weah?
