I guess they wanted to leave though so their hand was forced to bid. Wilshere's ball retention and usage is as good as it's gonna get his age but for me he doesn't have that extra, that game winning ability. Goetze has it and Thiago defo has it. Still not seen Hazard. He plays deeper than those guys Compare him to Kroos instead Both Wilshere and Kroos are naturally attacking players. Both currently play deeper midfield roles but it is not where they naturally play or likely will play in the future. I'm prepared to put my forum status on Wilshere returning as an AM.
