This culture he was talking about is "nigga" culture. There is a whole world of culture out there for the black man to learn and cherish, however it doesn't sell. It's not cool...it doesn't appeal to the majority of chicks out there (which is fundamentally a huge part of why people act the way they do). Instead, what sells is a hedonistic and short-sighted culture, which white people are happy to package up and market, for their own gain - financially and sociologically (as it keeps the threat of REAL blackness away).

 

What's funny is, half of the dudes who DO pursue the real black culture (like Akala) seem to be smug and self-serving, so it doesn't really spread the message either. A leader is needed. We need a Muhammad Ali or a Malcolm X of the 21st century. Someone who will die for what they believe in...Someone who doesn't appear to be doing it for their own (and obvious) self-serving reasons.
