Mourinho broke the best team of all times strong hold on the league and was considered a failure.

Remind me why the Madrid ultras still call for him to come back.

The real hardcore fans loved him.

They have bad taste

Maybe they like shit on stick football

Maybe they like being semi-finalists

I don't know Thizz

Mourinho had a free reign@Real

Failed badly

Failed badly?

Ok.

What SHOULD have he accomplished then?

One league title in three seasons

No CL title(the very thing he was brought for) in three seasons

Divided the dressing room

Got Valdano removed as Director of Football

Real Madrid

Carlo

Currently 2 points behind Barca

Yet he's on his way out.

I'm not asking what he didn't do, I'm asking you what he SHOULD have done.

You're implying he SHOULD have won a CL title.

I disagree.

The teams he got knocked out by were 2 of the most dominant teams of this generation & a BVB side at their peak.

The best team of our generation were unable to win the CL two times in a row.

The reason it's the most coveted trophy in club trophy is because it's the hardest to win. No manager or club, as good as you can be is entitled to win it.

He failed to an extent, but to suggest he failed badly is beyond ludicrous.

Considering before that how pants you lot were in the CL I'm not surprised.

Tell me something my Portugese brother.

Would you prefer to win the league playing as you call it shit on a stick football scoring the record amount of goals.

Or come 2nd playing the better football but scoring less?

He failed and failed so badly

He had a free reign unlike any other Real manager before him

He was allowed to buy whoever he wanted

One league title in three seasons is pathetic

Three semi-finals is very poor especially Ancelotti won it at the first attempt

I hate mediocrity

Carlo is a beast in CL way better than Mourinho in that sense

Jose is way better in the league tho. Carlo struggled with AC in serie a for years imo

Way better yeah?

yep considering the amount of times he reached the knock out stages and his triumph/dominance with AC and his ability to finally win la decima

No manager in a good job is going to seriously express any desire to manage Arsenal, while Arsene Wenger is in charge.

Until Wenger leaves it's just not even in your job prospects tbh.

Saying if it's a choice between Man Utd or Arsenal, Pep picking United every day of the week, from a Chelsea fan is a bit laughable for numerous reasons, especially when of course in your world Mourinho picked returning to Chelsea over replacing Fergie didn't he...

Infact talking of Mourinho, he calls Arsenal the dream job and I'm sure many many many managers think exactly the same... GREAT salary, FREE reign, patience, London and now money to spend, yeah of course it's United every day of the week...

Its not that your not spitting real talk, its more that your allowing yourself to get trolled by the anti Arsenal brigade aka the haters

It's not all real talk

A manager has free reign at Utd, ask Rene Muelensteen, ask Danny Welbeck.

How does having your finances restricted since Jesus was child constitute towards free reign?

Since when would Arsenal offer a more competitive salary that the richest sports club in the world?

The only factual attributes he's given which validates Arsenal manager being dream job is London, and patience for silverware.

The name Arsenal Football Club doesn't hold enough weight for PEP

Imagine..

Barcelona > Bayern > Arsenal

What a descent

Moyes and van Gaal don't/didn't have free reign. Moyes would still be Arsenal manager ffs and van Gaal had the players dropped on him from the Moyes previous summer lol.

Since when, well your last and current manager are on a salary lower than what Arsenal are playing...

On the topic of free reign.

No manager has complete autonomy at a club. Arsene Wenger included.

However, at some clubs, you can manage. At other clubs, you can only coach.

What a coach like Pep prefers is hard to know but one thing I will say is 'managing' Barcelona took a massive toll on him physically, mentally & emotionally. He's welcomed the move to Bayern because it's arguably the best ran club in the world & allowed him to focus solely on on-field matters.

Who actually challenges Wenger? He has free reign.

In a managerial career that has spanned 5 more years than Mourinho he was 3 to his 2.

Both have reached the KO's 11 times.

Struggling to see this way better thing pal.

Again I shall ask, who is challenging Arsene Wenger?!

He knows his responsibilities, he knows when the fans are unhappy, but the reality is bar finances, he does whatever the fuck he wants unchallenged by those that really matter.

Imagine Ivan Gazidas ringing Arsene after Monaco defeat angry and unhappy...

Wenger's will straight look him in his fade and say what he said to the press, "I want to win football games and it’s a huge disappointment not to win, but that’s part of it. The reactions today are always very emotional but life is not always on a high. You have to go through lows as well and at the end of the day it is about how consistent you have been in response to disappointments that makes your life.”

And keep it moving.

He doesn't have complete autonomy at the club otherwise some of our key players wouldn't have been sold in recent years.

He has relative free reign, not complete free reign.
