The Somalian Posted May 9, 2017 Report Share Posted May 9, 2017 my gp surgery has emergency appointment from 8:30 I can see the doctor but if the emergency appointment is full and it really is an emergency I can go to A&E who have a doctor. QPR Dee Posted May 9, 2017 Report Share Posted May 9, 2017 mines weird, good doctors but appointment system is shit. i can get an appointment same day, back in october i walked in at 12 and got an emergency appointment for 4. but a few weeks before that i had to wait 3 days for a, i guess routine appointment. so it varies depending on what i want, but they have an after hours service and when my kid was ill early this year i was able to go to another GP at 8.30 at night that same day so the area is decent GP wise and the way they run it. not always packed but sometimes theres nowhere to park Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
O Fenomeno Posted May 9, 2017 Report Share Posted May 9, 2017 My GP is a bit silly If you don't type into the machine(Gender,DOB) or notify reception five minutes before your appointment it gets automatically cancelled but however nothing happens if you're waiting for two hours past your planned appointment.
