400,000 jobs are not all 35k jobs tho are they.

I agree that theres plenty of jobs available but its what people WANT that's not available

Well the reality is some people aren't good enough for what they want to do so they need to find something else or up their skill level. You have no entitlement to what you "want". You either make sure you're the best or choose a different avenue.

Anyone who wants a job can get one

There's plenty of jobs out there , but there not as "sexy" as one wants them to be .

Look at how quick immigrants find jobs .

theres many factors to immigrants skills levels though so again being an immigrant doesnt mean they much.M12 has now moved to london and become snotty. as if theres Jobs a sunder in brum

Cant stand people who were fortunate to land on their feet and forgot how the real world is

Maybe if you get made redundant or someone close to you does you would understand.

So are you the best in your field of work yeah? top 10? top 100? How do you make sure the best without experience and only having book knowledge?

If you did get fired tomorrow and someone came and offered you a job to work in KFC in your area or a street sweeper would you honestly take it or would you hold out for what you want/feel you deserve?

Just because a job is there doesn't mean you have to take it and should be judged negatively for not taking it

Upping your skill level? LOL so people should go and do a masters and PHD and get in more debt yeah to try get a better job

Further how do they afford to fund the things they need to improve their skill level

I am not denying there are jobs out there but you really think Unemployed would be near 3 million just because people are lazy and not applying for jobs

Wake up man

i once read of some british guy (and black)who got into property mgt and running his own company

just from seeing some breh driving a porshe or thereabouts and walking up to him to ask how he can make the money he did

and the guy took him under his wing.

i guess if no one here has or needs that motivation the results will be flawed.

lol just sounds like the pursuit of happyness scene

i aint on lappy and cba to type a full response.

But upskilling doesnt have to mean doing a degree or a masters, you can upskill by reading, taking a different job with skills that will benefit you in other areas, taking up hobbies that develop your personality etc.]

and there aint nothing wrong with working in kfc or McDs or anywhere if you are using it as a stepping stone to something else. Whether thats just getting money together for your own shit, customer service skills, learning how a business is run or whatever.

Making yourself better aint as black and white as getting a degree certificate

Tbh I agree with profit margins to a Certain extent. Most things in uk are accessible. There are plenty of 35k a year jobs. That anyone could amass the right qualifications and experience for if they dedicated themselves to it for 3/4/5 years. But most people don't want the initial sacrifice of studying or working for minor P to gain experience. Everyone wants to do a course and jump into a big job 2moro. It's not realistic.

Nobody wants to go through struggle they want success an their hand held at every step.

A third of recent graduates in unskilled jobs

More than a third of recent graduates are employed in low-skilled jobs, official figures show.

In the final quarter of 2011, 35.9% of those who had graduated from university in the previous six years were employed in lower-skilled occupations, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said. This compares with 26.7%, or just over one in four, in 2001.

Jobs categorised as low-skilled by the ONS include hotel porters, waiters and bar staff, and retail assistants.

its not surprising though. This is where black people have integrated way too much with whitey and their lifestyles.

look at the girl in that Guardian article...."Graduated with a 2:1 in HISTORY from Goldsmiths university"...wtf?

in this day and age if your surname isnt 'Goldsmith or Windsor-Mountbatten' or ur related to people with such surnames wtf are u gonna do with History?

Thats where Asians, and some Africans have that Survival instinct to understand what they need to do by studying the top earning jobs, and getting specialised skills. black men aint even taking up teaching that pays a decent wage and is a job for life as much as they should be

people go to uni and study Biz admin..with zero speciality, music tech, Sports f*ck*ng science, INformation systems (without being able to program sh*t)

and expect to walk into a job...and if you didnt do a raegus and Go to both Oxford and Cambridge, (or a Russell group uni)..your chances of that are slim.

systematically educating their young?

No, by NOT doing this as draconian as they should. especially when they dont have a fraction of the networks white pple have..and raegus if i was studying History it would only be cos i would be able to fund a masters to specialise in something, not look for a job and then hope to begin that journey through the job.

Well thats good for you. Dont quite understand why because history = useless for you that means history = useless, but ok kl.

History aint useless, im saying i wdnt just do a degree in it,

i would have known before i applied to study it that my plan would be to go further and do a masters in something unique

look at what she's saying

I finished my course in May and immediately started doing an full-time, unpaid internship for a non-profit arts organisation for five months. They led me to believe I would get a job out of it, which was why I stuck with it for so long.

My parents supported me until September, but after that I had to move back in with them in Reading, which is where I am now.

I'd always really wanted a career in museum or arts curating, but there's always someone out there who's done one more internship than you. I didn't get a single interview, so I've basically given up on that now. I'm just looking for anything in PR, marketing or media that might come up.

nobody I know who did my course is doing a job they want to be doing. They're all waiters, or working in shops.

The uni tr0lled the whole set..got their Govt funding for bums on seats and pushed out an entire set of "history" graduates with no prospects.

Fair play to guy. Took guts. I remember I was on the verge of doing something like this. I know how it feels to be that desperate for employment so i respect his hustle.

A black man is more than capable of carrying out the same actions as is a an Asian person but neither typically would because the they care too much on what what everyone thinks. Pride tends to take precedence before all.
