How is it not?One of Al Pacino's greatest performances, Michelle Pfeiffer at her peak (looks-wise), Brian De Palma at his peak, Oliver Stone approaching his peak as a writer.It's an indisputable classic.

I get what you're saying but to many others it's a classic, all about opinions with films. To me I think it's a classic not on the level of a Citizen Kane, Godfather 1 & 2 etc but it's certainly up there, tells the great story of nothing to something, coming into the country with nothing then going right to the top feeling as if you're king of the world then it just all comes crashing down. Can class this as one of the "Cult Classics". It's not everyone cup of tea, infact this got mixed reviews when it was first released.

Cult classic is a fair description of those sort of films, Scarface, Casino, Goodfellas etc. Very good films in their own right but not masterpieces, i'm ashamed that i haven't watched Citizen Kane yet though, will watch soon./

I would watch it Jubez, yes its not as good as the the first two but you should still watch it yourself to decide that. In no way does it ruin the previous two films as their classics on their own right.When I was given the boxset i watched the first two over and over again but never went near the third because of what i've heard. Finally gave it a watch and it is disappointing but still glad I did.

Just watched "A Serbian Film", now I'm not one to flinch or pull faces during films but with this I was having to look away and raise eye brows, some of the scenes are just utterly disturbing. Its one f*cked up film.
