Too early to say. The league will go down to the wire. The champions league is also too difficult to predict. The way people were going on at the start of this season, just seeing arsenal fighting for these honours is making a lot of heads on this forum look stupid.

I don't know if that is sarcasm or not. But up until spurs scored there penalty chelsea had only had 1 shot on goal (thier freekick) and it weren't as if spurs were firing shots in from all over the place. All goals came from penalties/set pieces. Extra time the game was exciting as is the case with all extra time, but if u think for one second that the first 75mins of that game was entertaining your more deluded than i thought. Being a fan of either one of the teams your gonna get caught up in it more, but for the neutral it was hardly a classic cup final.

Chelsea were poor, tottenham were ok. The game was pretty boring in my opinion with neither team doing a great deal. No dig at spurs, but whatever there fans say this trophy will mean a lot more to them than it ever would do for a man utd/arsenal/chelsea. Not saying that Chelsea didn't want to win, but they won't be devestated.

It's a shame he never played at a world cup or big international tournament. For that reason i don't think he will be considered in 50 years time to be a legend. Definately a domestic legend though, the way he adpoted his game from being a pacy left winger, to really a left sided midfielder was sick, still just as effective.

It all depends. When sven said he signed someone from seeing them on TV, i assumed he had a scout there who followed the player with a camera, that's what i think most clubs do anyway. But in terms of fans, our whole outlook is swayed by tv editing and commentator/pundit bias. When i saw Ronaldiniho vs Chelsea a couple of seasons ago, i was amazed at just how lazy he was, but then u saw the highlights and it looked like he was running the game.

juggling the ball on the pitch 'lack of proffesionalism'
will h replied to n/a's topic in Sports Room
Oh, and i don't think anybody is saying they don't want to see skills or tricks, cos we all do including the media and manager. I'm all for him doing tricks trying to take players on and playing football. Running to your own goal doing kick ups just shows a lack of respect. -

Is definately a piss take. Don't know why hoyte didn't let him just run doing kick ups, he was going towards his own goal anyway, weren't like he was showboating in our end of the field. If anyone of us was playing sunday league football and were losing 4-0 and some c*nt started doing kick ups, no doubt someone would put in a horror challenge. I know i would. I wouldn't commend him on being able to do kick ups in his own half of the pitch, my nan could probably do it. Unfortunatly though Hoyte made Nani look a lot better than it was by chasing after him and falling on his face like a mug. -
Live closest to Charlton, usually see them a couple of times a year.Arsenal has always been the team my family supported though, probably from the days they used to play in woolwich.

Very average chant.Heard much more offensive chants than that.

I can't believe liverpool fans still back benitez. They have made no movements since Houllier left. Can't even bank on decent cup runs anymore.

The desire just wasn't there at all. This is why this team is different from the past. No way would we have lost this game and the spurs game in the manner we did if we had people like Vieira, Keown, Bergkamp been around. A lot of people no longer have the ability to lead or that winning mentality that our winning squads of the past had.Gallas has been good this year, but he should of been leading that defence, in hoyte and traore's ear the whole time, same with toure. Gilberto is awful now. I find hard to blame because we have made him sh*t by playing him so little. People forget that a lot of players need to find a rhythm for thier play to become effective, which probably is why the goal machine has been so good this year. Still, gilberto does look like he don't give a sh*tWe need a few more leaders and a few more players with that never say die, winning mentality that our teams of old had, we've seen it in patches, but it appears for cup competitions we barely give a toss.

Kimbo knocked him out in 43 secs

It is painful watching gilberto these days.

"That how he is going on, skeen, ill go back to sunny LA"
will h replied to Mr. Gayle's topic in Sports Room
Although i still rate him and think he would be useful to England, if he had got in the squad it would of been a joke. He hasn't been playing for a while and knew when he stupidly went MLS that it would affect his england chances. I would much rather get my 100 cap on the way i been playing, rather than for what i had done in the past. -
