I want spurs to do well this season but after looking at their fixture list for the next couple of months and the way martin jol is going on (the midfield selection, trying to play all 4 strikers, no taraabt in squad ) I feel to take a trip to ladbrokes tomorrow..http://www.ladbrokes.com/lbr_portal/?AFF_I...amp;ASSET_ID=82Next Premier League Manager To Leave 2007/08 - Martin Jol - 6/1
I should have placed this bet a long time ago

Have to get rid of him now.Cause i wont be travelling to Bolton or Liverpool and paying £40, with Jol still in charge.Grateful for what he has done in the last 3 years, but its clear that things are not working anymore, he has lost the dressing room, lost the board and it seems like hes lost the fans now...

You're a fickle mug.Our season is pretty much over now, the board are squarely to blame for everything. I fail to see many available managers who could do a job as good as Jol has done.Big round of applause for Levy and Commoli, f*cking chumps.

If a Spurs fan really thought Jol was the man to take them to the next level they were living in a fantasy world.Capello recently had one year to sort out a f*cked up Real Madrid team and sort them out, which he did and won the league. Weren't enough to keep his job. If he's intrested we should take him on board, give him this season to get to know the players. Alot of players would respect him and we would finally be able to buy top class players.Comilli can f*ck off as well.

Capello knew the club and league tho. He had a very talented and experienced but under performing and lacking discipline squad. Its complete different to a squad with the likes of Ghaly, Taino, Slateri, etc... I dont know him as a person but will he be able to work with a mainly English squad? Cos he didnt get the Beckham way of life and was pretty harsh with him at one point... A lot of foreign coaches dont get the English mentality and lets be hoenest, you have a few Sunday down Faces players...Plus are you prepared to risk three years of Jol's squad building for fairly journeymen managers which could easily use you as a BIG cheque and stop gap to a bigger job in their native countries.

We need to take a risk init.Capello ain't expected to win the league or anything, just motivate the players to have some next mentality that we can keep a lead and dont have to f*ck up every time. Personally, best guy i think that will be best for us is Ramos. Don't think he's going to leave at all after the death of Peurta. At the end of the day there needs to be a change. We need to bring a manager with tactics and knows how to motivate the players. Sure we might fall on our faces if things don't work out but atleast i know we took that risk to see if it would lead us somewhere. At the end of the day, we got the money to probally buy most players in the world. We just can't attract them to the club. We couldn't even attract Petrov for f*ck sake, thats a piss take. If we can't attract top class players, we can't expect to break the top 4.Jol is a good guy and has done wonders with are club and has build a team that can continue for years to come, but thats the furthest he can take us. 2 years and he still puts Lennon on the left, that was the final straw, not even 3-1 defeat to our local rivals. Then he drops "there is no need to panic" lmao

Er, but if Levy & Comolli take that risk now & it goes horribly wrong, there f*cked!Ramos would be excellent, but he aint leaving while in the Champions League and the problem is between now and end of season, Sevilla's performances can easily rise his stock to a level that you just become one of many & lose out... TBH I don't think Peurta death plays a role. Change for what tho? Your change has to be for the better LONG term, not juts for a few months cos Jol can do that...I doubt that was the case with Petrov, he ended up at City, plus Berbatov had him in his pocket, it must have been the board's fault... Thats what you all say about Arsenal...Lol.You didn't panick last year tho?
