I don't care anymore. If we do get the 50 mil i fully expect two world class signings. Each £25 mil each. I just can't think of any players available. Surely we must have to go for Arshavin or Break the bank to sign Silva/Villa, no way am i going to be paying £40 + a ticket to watch Bent upfront. No f*ck*ng way Argh!

Are these moves both actually happening then?
Keane is basically a done deal. There is three people that are considered very reliable sources on liverpool forums who dont make up little sh*t rumours they are very trusted and nearly always right. (each one on a different forum). They have said that the deal is basically done. The first one is 'Elisha Scott', Steven Gerrards best mate (worth noting that Gerrard shares the same agent as Keane), Dave Usher, friend of Chris Bascombe and Jamie Carragher (pictures of them both floating around the web, I believe) and 'Shankslegend', Who I think knows Rick Parry, our CEO (and never gets things wrong). I'd say that the chances of this happening are 95%.
LMAO @ this post....

Whats funny bout that post?Anyways

Robbie Keane’s switch to Liverpool will be sealed next weekROBBIE KEANE will become a Liverpool player next week – as Tottenham prepared to report the club to the authorities for their “disgraceful” conduct during the transfer saga.Keane’s much-touted move from Spurs has been all but sealed, with only the formalities to be completed.Spurs manager Juande Ramos intimated earlier this week that the White Hart Lane club would be willing to sell the 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international in an attempt to balance the books. And Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez will be delighted at the capture of his main striking target to replace the departed Peter Crouch. The deal could eventually cost Liverpool up to £20million given various add-ons and incentives. But Tottenham have lodged an official complaint to the Premier League over the conduct of Liverpool during the deal – and Manchester United in their pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov.Chairman Daniel Levy, who was in charge of the club when board members met with then Sevilla manager Ramos while Martin Jol was still in charge, claimed: “The behaviour of both clubs has been disgraceful. We told both clubs very early on that we had no interest in selling Robbie or Dimitar and that they should refrain from purs

Steed Malbranque, Teemu Tainio and Younes Kaboul have joined Pascal Chimbonda in holding talks with Sunderland. The Black Cats tabled bids for the Tottenham players earlier in the week and Chimbonda arrived at the Stadium of Light on Saturday morning for talks over a potential transfer. The French defender's three Spurs team-mates have now all made the same journey to meet with Sunderland boss Roy Keane.Agent Rudy Raba had stated that Kaboul was not interested in a switch to Sunderland, with Portsmouth leading the chase for the 22-year-old.However, he has decided to listen to Sunderland's offer before reassessing his options.Malbranque and Tainio have also discussed personal terms with the club and it would appear they have no future at Tottenham.
If everyone leaves(Including dimi and keane) we are looking to have something like 80 mil to spend

Guest Van Der Vaart

Selling both is sheer madness but the way Ramos is goin' on, he's looking at a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 as your main formation, 'tis bait....Still think Spurs will get 5th place with ease.

Who would you like to see come in as replacements???Lot of Spurs fans are dropping names like Huntelaar, which is a real possibility (20 mil bid) There is also David Villa, we wouldn't be his first option but we could easily drop a 32-35 mil bid for this guy who would definitely ease the pain. All depends on other clubs and their bids tbh. However, he does want to stay in spain so it would be very hard work to get him.Pavlechenko. Not really convinced with him.Arshavin. Stated he wants to leave and play for champ league but is being priced out (24 mil) which we could easilly pay if no other teams fork out.We are getting around 23 mil for 4 players if everything goes well, which i like to see splashed out on a Def Mid who has all the qualities we need. Finally Levy should say goodbye to that Wage cap, if we want to sign any top players. Then again, Keano and Dimi can both stay and we don't have to worry about anything :D

To be honest theres not much positives we can take from this.Dont want Arshavin, dont want Pavlechenko, Villa wont happen, Huntelarr wouldnt work with Bent.So there really is no one available to replace either, if even either were replaceable which they are not.We are more or less f*cked, i dont want us using a 4-5-1, but thats what Ramos will play, it's Darren f*ckin Bent on his own up front next season.Levy - "I dont wanna seem like a mug, so we HAVE to play Bent, i paid enough for him, get rid of Berbatov and Keane..."Thats the general mindset of that stupid c*nt.We will get a decent DM, but tbh im so drained from this shite over the last few days, im not even looking forward to the season now, actually i really cannot even be f*cked with football, first time since the days of Pleat. I really, really am considering boycotting the whole season due to this fiasco, selling our 3 best players from last season is utter complete madness, and i still cant get my head around it. It's gone beyond the point of being a joke, it's an absolute f*ckin farce of the highest degree.

He was our best player for the first half of the last season. And he kept up consistent good performances into the 2nd half, got some vital goals, and created alot of chances. He was my player of the season by a long shot to be honest.Again, we are losing our 3 best players from last season......why?!f*ck*ng furious to be honest.

The lads made it two wins from two training ground games in Spain with a 4-2 win over C.D. Denia on Saturday evening.Adel Taarabt and Jermaine Jenas struck for us in the first half, while an own goal and a Darren Bent strike ensured victory as the lads stepped up their preparations ahead of the new campaign with many of the squad playing between 60 and the full 90 minutes.Denia play two divisions higher than previous opponents Tavernes, competing in the Segunda Division B Group 3, the third tier of Spanish football, and certainly demonstrated they were of a higher quality. They could have led after 20 minutes when Michael Dawson was forced to head off the line from a curling strike destined for the top right corner.Nevertheless we controlled possession for large spells and were eventually rewarded for our endeavours with two goals in the final 15 minutes of the first half. However, any hopes of taking a two-goal advantage in at the break were dashed in the final minute of the half when Denia reduced the deficit. Two changes were made at the interval when goalscorer Jenas and John Bostock made way for Robbie Keane and Giovani dos Santos and within nine minutes our two-goal cushion was restored thanks to an own goal after good work from Andros Townsend on the left flank. Our fourth goal was not long in coming with Giovani setting Bent up for a simple tap in on 59 minutes.Denia claimed a consolation strike shortly after Jonathan Woodgate, Tomas Pekhart and Oscar Jansson had entered the action along with Bostock who returned to play out the final 30 minutes. Here's how the goals went in:30.26: Gomes quick roll out to Jenas who runs unchallenged past the halfway line before playing the ball right to Lennon whose low centre is met by Taarabt, who turned his marker inside out and applied a low finish at the near post. 1-038.16: Jenas exchanges passes with Taarabt and then Bent to go through on goal and slot into the net. 2-044.27: Volley from outside the penalty area bounces through a crowded box and eludes Gomes. 2-154.23: Townsend slips past the full-back to deliver a teasing cross from the byline on the left, which the defender pokes into his own net. 3-159.31: Giovani evades offside trap to latch on to Taarabt through pass, goalkeeper rushes out of his box and the Mexican international generously squares the ball for Bent to tap into an empty net. 4-170.38: Fiercely struck free-kick from the left finds the net. 4-2Spurs: Gomes (Jansson 63), Gunter, Dawson (Zokora 63), Archibald-Henville (Woodgate 63), Townsend, Lennon (Bostock 63), Huddlestone, Jenas (Keane 46), Bostock (Giovani 46), Taarabt, Bent (Pekhart 63).
