IF ANYTHING THIS SEASON HAS MADE ME REALISE THAT KEEPING BERBA AINT THE ANSWER.WE NEED A REVAMP IN SEVERALL AREAS OF THE TEAM AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH SULKY BEING SACRIFICED ALTHOUGH HE REMAINS ONE OF THE BEST STRIKERS TO OF EVER GRACED EHL.
yh i kno wat urs saying m8 but if we sell one of our most influencial players then we're guna have ANOTHER rebuilding season while our new striker get used to the team/league, & its about time spurs actually did something insted of planning for next season

Theres tons of options on. We have bought a load of land north and south of the stadium ive been told. But the most likely ones are either building a new stadium in Enfield ready for 2011/2012 or rotating WHL 90 degrees or something and building an extra 15,000 seats. But for those 2 years of the latter, we would need to ground share.
Have they said anything about the possible capacity of the new stadium (if one was going to be built)?Expansion would give SHL about 50K right..A new stadium will probably be allowed a max of 60KSo a 10K fan difference but would take two extra years and probably cost more I think expansion is better but the 2 year groundshare would be a problem

55,000-60,000 has been quoted. We need it. And we would sell out every 2nd week when at home in the league.

I aint being funny but when your not winning games your fans tend to sit at home and hide in the closet then come out when you hit a winning streak. IF you do get a new stadium then by christ you will have to do better then mid table to be able to fund the stadium. The only reason your stalling on the decision to build a new stadium is Levy, Im not sure he feels he has the right squad yet to be a succesfull team for numerous years to fund the building. Arsenals stadium was 60,000 and cost over 300 million yet we are struggling to pay off even with a good sponsor and success in champions league with numerous top 4 finishes and to think your going down the same route it could be a serious risk

Nothing to play for.Thats why the game with Boro is SOLD OUT for Saturday.Thats why the game with Bolton is already SOLD OUT and its 2 weeks away.SMHDont get our fanbase confused with Chelsea or Arsenal please.

more rumours....

Tottenham out to get creative with move for playmaker Luka ModricTottenham Hotspur have held discussions with Dynamo Zagreb about the possibility of signing Luka Modric. Officials from the North London club met their Croatian counterparts on Tuesday in an effort to steal a march on other Barclays Premier League sides chasing the signature of the Croatia midfield player.Juande Ramos, the Tottenham head coach, was unable to persuade Tiago, the Portugal and former Chelsea holding midfield player, to join the club in January from Juventus. He has since come to the conclusion that he needs a more creative player in the centre of midfield and that is now one of his primary ambitions for this summer's transfer window.Zdravko Mamic, the Zagreb president, has priced Modric at about £18million and has spoken to several other English clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle United. Modric, 22, was instrumental in helping his country to beat England 3-2 in the crucial European Championship qualifying match at Wembley in November, a defeat that led to Steve McClaren's departure as England head coach. Modric's vision and passing have earned praise from many observers and he can play on the left side of midfield or as a playmaker behind the forwards.Ramos's priority is to sign at least one goalkeeper, two defenders, a midfield player and a forward. Carlos Kameni is one of the leading contenders among the goalkeepers that remain under consideration. The Espanyol player can be bought for €6million (about £4.7million), but a potential deal has become considerably more expensive in recent months because the pound has fallen almost 9 per cent in value against the euro on currency exchange markets this year.Ramos has shown interest in Diego López, the Villarreal goalkeeper, who came through the Real Madrid youth system and was the second choice behind Iker Casillas at the Bernabéu for two seasons. The 26-year-old has since established himself at Villarreal, where he has three years left on his contract, which includes a release clause of about £27 million.Marco Amelia, the Livorno goalkeeper who was in Italy's World Cup squad in 2006, has claimed that Tottenham were close to signing him in January. He attracted interest from Manchester City last summer. Tottenham have watched Maarten Stekelenburg, but have doubts about the Ajax goalkeeper.Tottenham could also need a second-choice goalkeeper, with Radek Cerny expected to leave at the end of the season, but Ben Alnwick may be promoted. Alnwick has yet to play for Tottenham, but has been on loan at Luton Town, of Coca-Cola League One, and Leicester City, of the Championship, this season.

TOTTENHAM look set to raid Spanish side Sevilla in a bid to bolster their squads for next season's Premier League campaign, writes Alex Sexton.Since his move to White Hart Lane, Spurs boss Juande Ramos has consistently been linked with moves for players at his former club. On this occasion it is the strike pair of La Liga top scorer, Luis Fabiano and ex-Spurs star Freddie Kanoute who are rumoured to be sought after. With the possible departure of Dimitar Berbartov over the summer, Ramos would be keen to reinforce his attacking line up. If the Bulgarian does leave, then any transfer funds received could be used by Ramos in his attempt to seal a deal for the pair.Brazilian star Fabiano, has smashed 33 goals in 38 games this season and is attracting interest from a host of top clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid. Tottenham will be hoping that boss Ramos can use his influence and persuade the hitman to join his revolution at the Lane.Freddie Kanoute has bagged 22 goals this season and would return to north London following a largely unsuccessful spell with the club three years ago. Ramos obviously has faith in the striker as he signed the Malian from Spurs for Sevilla, now he could be prepared to move for him once more.

Liverpool, Spurs and Everton are among Premiership clubs following 19 year-old whizkid Kevin McDonald and Dundee manager Alex Rae said of the possibility of a move away from Dens Park: “I don’t think it’s in Kevin’s interests to sit in the reserves somewhere, having already played at a good level. I was nearly 21 when I went to England and there’s no doubt that another year of experience at Falkirk helped me cope with it much better.McDonald has already amassed near on 100 appearances in Scotland and has already been capped at under 21 level and it seems it won’ t be long before he is tempted to give it a shot in the Premier League but former Millwall man Rae makes a good point with regards to being left in any of these top sides reserve teams. Maybe signing the player and then loaning him back would make most sense, until Kevin is ready to compete with the large amounts of talent at the three clubs mentioned.

Berbatov's future has been shrouded in doubt all season but after winning the Carling Cup Final against Chelsea, it looked as though he was ready to stay at White Hart Lane. However, the Bulgarian is known to want Champions League football and both Milan and Manchester United could offer him that chance while Spurs play in the Uefa Cup next season."All I can say is that there was an interest from the Italian club, that is all I can say," Berbatov said of the link to Milan. "If it produces negotiations I will be flattered."Meanwhile, United are also known to be in the hunt to land the player this summer as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to land a top class striker."I know that Sir Alex [Ferguson] wants me for a quite a while, but at the moment I am a player of Tottenham."

Dimitar Berbatov has admitted he would be flattered if Milan made a bid for him.The Tottenham striker is high on the wanted list of most of Europe's big hitters, but Spurs have always insisted they have no intention of letting him go.The player's agent has never been shy about letting potential suitors know that Berbatov would be willing to listen. Now the Bulgarian marksman has reignited rumours about his future whilst speaking back in his homeland.Berbatov was in Sofia to receive an award and also promote the launch of his own sporting foundation. Whilst in the Bulgarian capital he was asked about his future by the local media.MilanAnd the Spurs man revealed that the interest of Milan was already there."All I can say is that there was an interest from the Italian club, that is all I can say," said Berbatov when asked about Milan."If it produces negotiations I will be flattered."He was also asked again about Manchester United - who are also known admirers of him and he added: "I know that Sir Alex [Ferguson] wants me for a quite a while, but at the moment I am a player of Tottenham."Berbatov's future will no doubt be analysed closely by Tottenham coach Juande Ramos - who is set to overhaul the Spurs squad this summer, despite their success in winning the Carling Cup.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3406221,00.htmlWould be a big loss but sometimes players get to big for the club...Dont think anyone could blame him for wanting to move to milan if he does because hes at that stage of his career were he needs more medals...
