FACE OFF Posted December 3, 2007 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 i dont know about studying them subjects really and i dont know what you want to be in the future and i am not a careers officer so i wont pry but i do know that you have 2 kids and now its unrealistic for you to take on any course that will not lead to making money without you claiming benefits. To me this is a classic example of what i once told your wife in regards to being in control of your situation and she basically threw it in my face and now your experiencing it. You are someone that is not paying for your course and whats more in reality your lucky to even be in college so i think its time you bite your tongue and go to a next college if your serious as im sure lewisham isnt the only one.You are not in control of things like THIS what you are now experiencing and as your not really someone the college cares about in terms of finance for the course there is nothing you can do.you COULD consider looking for a foundation degree in whatever uni doing what ever course (look it up)thats the only thing i can think of at the moment im only telling you this cos i NOW see your trying so i wont kick you down but you NEED to think outside the box and go to a next college or uni i know lewisham is in the bits but you have kids to feed. (but u can choose to look at other countries)the only bad thing is wen it comes to exams and essay writing, u can't spit ur knowledge if it goes against the textbook, so u kinda have to juggle ur knowledge and textbook knowledge to keep it real.the text book is the biggest hypocrite though, one page it blatantly says we follow humans rights, and then next page it shows us laws that directly go against human rights, and we are meant to sit there eatin sponge cake and write yeh UK's democratic because we follow human rights.
