coming from a man thats far from convinced about tottenham - THEY BOSSED THE GAME, HAD THE BEST CHANCES AND DESERVED TO WIN. IF malbranque learnt to relax in the box and Keane was on form the game could have been over by half time. Spurs completely stiffled Arsenal and cut them apart when they had the ball and Berbatov was immense every time he got the ball he made something happen had arsenal players so shook they didn't want to get too tight to him. I don't like spurs at all but all they lack really is consistency and a world class central midfielder. IF king could play 40 games a season just once and Someone can score in than midfield then there going places because King tightens up that defence differently Chimbonda and Bale are very good players and they've got enough on the wings and upfront. We all know that they will never quite get there tho, i told certain man years ago that tottenham are the new 'old newcastle' buying bare overated british talent for too much to become nearly men. Wait you'll see in 5 years spurs fans looking back to 'how close they were to beating arsenal to 4th', 'reaching CC final', 'buying kaka etc.

Yes.When they had Davids for like a season they was playing some good football.also when they had carrick aswell they seemed to play better.tru say i feel sorry for tottenham fansmust be kinda depressing still biggrin.gif

am i lying? the only difference between Newcastle and spurs was top 4 finishes, Big CL performances including humbling barcelona and a hero in Shearer. Still all counts for nothing, trust me g its like deju vu. Whatever spurs try and buy the'll always be 4 clubs doing it that bit better then another team from spurs' group better equipped. This season its Everton and Villa.
