The body of a teenager who disappeared while out with friends on Christmas Eve has been found in the River Thames. Joshua Beasley, 17, from Lee, south-east London, was spotted in the water near River Road in Barking, east London, by a passing bargeman. Post-mortem tests showed he had drowned but his mother Ruth Harrison said she was still desperate to find out how he ended up in the river. Joshua was last seen near an ice rink in Greenwich, south-east London. Detectives said there were no obvious signs of foul play but it was still unclear as to how he went into the river. The teenager met a group of friends in Wetherspoon's pub in Creek Road on the afternoon of 24 December. He left without them realising he had gone, and was later seen on the ice rink in the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College. In a statement Ms Harrison said: "Joshua's dad Paul and I have been so grateful for all the support we have received. "We thank everyone for their help... in trying to locate Joshua. We are still desperate to find out how he came to go into the river."
Knew this bre would be dead, didnt know they if they would find him though.
