i dont know if its still there it was the sainburys in coliers wood my friend told me bout it and got me one then i told goliath and demanded i take him there to get his copy.so i did loli already had it but gave the old copy to someone else and kept the other.

Im still surprised that no big tv channel in the uk has signed up the wire to there channel yet....Feeling to write to channel 5, the shows just so sick got everything you need to make a show relate to so many peoples lifes...Gonna ReDownload every ep and keep them this time and when i get the pee buy the boxsets....

i dont see why you're surprised. though, in a way seeing as the UK love ethnic minority stereotypes, the wire sings right down their lane so it should be something shown on normal tv. i wrote channel 4 in 2006, and the bbc in '07 but by then FX were showing it.

The Wire will always be a "cult" tv series, just like Twin Peaks in the early 1990's its just too sophisticated for the average TV viewer and its not like 24 where each episode can be viewed in isolation like a "movie". Channel 5 were showing it for a while, but I'm guessing the ratings were poor hence the dissapearance. ITV will never show it apart from on ITV4 or a similar platform, BBC could well buy the rights in a few years time but again, it wont be on BBC3 or 4, deffo not on BBC1 but maybe BBC2.

lol. this was before i got to find out that these shows are all there for them to see anyway. they all knew about it when they went to bid for the US shows each new season at the broadcasters thing they do each yr..and being a HBO show makes it even more apparent that they would've seen it and just didnt bother picking it up.

Swear they had to body wallace coz he snitched or something? The most deepest death was D'Angelo's. Never ever thought they would kill him off. Didnt eevn think TV Shows kill off main characters like that
