and getting back on topic...i live in stratoford....in the school i went to white people were the minority tbh. it was mostly black, fili and asian people to be honest...and some mixed heads up in there too!it was an all girls school but the boys school round the corner was basically the same and they were our main source of interaction for boys.now for a white girl that goes to this school, whilst there are a number of white boys in that school around the corner....there are far more boys of other races. there is a chance that she may find a white boy that she is attracted to, gets along with and likes....but mathematically and logically speaking...there is a greater chance of her finding a boy of another race that she is attracted to, gets along with and likes....just for the simple fact that there are more of them.so if a white girl from this school does end up entering a relationship with a boy of another race...can she be said to be following a trend?i use this as an example because this is the way i have seen most inter-racial relationships come about.the way i see it, it all depends on your social circles and who you associate with. in the multi-racial society that we live in...it is highly likely that people will be associating with people of other races...increasing the likeliness of inter-racial relationships occuring.this doesnt make it a trend, its more of a coincidence really.
I get what you are saying but this isn't entirely true although you know that. Yes there is more black and other races around so numbers wise there is more choice, but at the end of the day YOU LIKE WHAT YOU LIKE. If you really liked the white boy, you would find him, it's a bit more 2 do with you being around the other races and minglign with them, adopting their ways and styles, and conforming (not in a bad way, cnt find better word) with them, so you start to see the other races more attractive etc.
yes i guess it could be put like that...in some cases.but same way...for people where this is the case...i wouldn't say they were following a trend.as i said...its more coincidence.

lol @ u lot for getting this long winded girl startedbut as far as the actual argument goeseven though i agree with violet for the most parti fully understand wat marlon is sayingthere are black white and asian boys that have grown up in inner city london surronded by people that speak slang and what nt, but IT IS STILL NOT THEM. They dn't really feel comfortable with that whole urban sub culture. wen they go home or are in the midst of people who they are really close with, they dn't talk slang, but when with no so close friends all of a sudden its "wagwan" and "sup b" every other sentencethese are the people who i believe marlon is talking about,(not just white boys which is wat i think violet thinks marlon is trying to say) and there are people like this in every race.Violet think of the way alex from yur history class is trying to be nwand u'll get wat marlon is saying

tbh ....when i actually think about it....i don't know any white girls that hype about being with a black boy...i've heard lots of stories about them...and i'm sure there are some...but thinking about it....i don't actually know any.hmmm...o-guy, scorpzz were there any white girls in our school like that?

i agree with violet tbh. i can only speak from the perspective of living in a multicultural city, but in my opinion you build your preferences on what’s around you. if you move/grew up in certain circles, went to predominantly black/white schools, etc.. that’s what you’re going to be most comfortable with, regardless of your race. there’s exceptions to everything obviously. but basically yeah i think the first guys post was rubbish
