co signhowever i dont really take offence to this character what you got to remember is eastenders is a show that is older than certain people even in this thread its bond to have directors and writers that do this for their own reasons and their own people (target audience they care about) its not really for them to make show that makes black people look good or bad and i wouldnt expect them to care i mean why should they its their show.to be fair i stopped watching east enders end of last year when i discovered the wire and realised that what i watch on television for entertainment has to match what i listen to MUSICALLYand the key word is REALITYthe whole concept of eastenders is played out now even when you look at the geographics of the show EVERYONE uses the launderette like they dont own a washing machine thats just ONE of the things that make it unreal on so many levels and phil mitchell aint dead.now i know for a fact that phil would of been killed by even a younger by now and if not his pub would of been petrol bombed and his son would of been over bullied.the show is not sh*t its just slipped thru the fingers of reality imo and i forget to watch it now the stories are hardly ever relevant to real life these days.its trying to be entertaining whilst still maintaining the anti racism stigma that it could get not a good recipe imo
