Bad company to use as an example mind you. Coz how is 1 man (you) going to spread a big enough rumour to force other shareholders (ones who are going long) to panick sell?

Lol, restore my credibility you knowFundamentally its just when a trader sales a financial instrument in the hope of buying them later at a cheaper price.I won't do that with MS coz the government are clamping down on that. Infact they are NOT allowing it.YOURSELF can NOT crash MS stocks, sick guy

Guest Flava Dave

also, theyd kinda b no needonly firms affected by short selling in the current climate are financial institutions because shareholders and other banks themselves arent confident enough in the liquidity of even the largest firms (AIG, Fanny Mae etc having to be bailed out) and most of these firms rely on inter-bank lending and sh*t, so wen this doesnt happen as much then ppl will jsu think sutin bad is gonna happenMicrosoft isnt in anyway connected to that so i dunno how on earth short selling could wipe off its value and sh*t

David, in theory it could but its a VERY LONG shot & you'll need ALOT of money to do it. In this climate, its not going to happen. If somehow MANY MANY MANY investors/finance firms started to short sell MS stocks. It could drive the rest of the market to follow suit or at least lower its value. MS stocks is very STRONG so forget about tbh.

Lol @ agency thingyNah, the only time you pay a credit reference agency is when you want to obtain your credit file. Experian at the moment let you do a 30 day trail for free but make sure you cancel it before the 30 days or they'll debit your account. You pay who you literally owe unless it gets passed on to debt collection agencythen you pay them who then pay whoever you owe. Usually by then they probably defaulted you. The many defaults you have, the worse your credit score/file/rating gets. It's updated every month. If you pay it off, your file may get better, it just depends on your other credit situation. It's worked out collectively too.Credit Agencies simply record & store all your financial escapades for helping other financial & non financial companies to make decisions on giving you credit/accounts/hp or a job. Some don't even use the major credit reference agencies (Experian, Equifax), they have their own system of assessing.Ok, all certain financial debts you owe will appear on your file, these could be bank related (credit cards, loans, over drafts etc), anything on higher purchase like car, tv, basically whatever you are paying off little by little & you signed a credit agreement. Other things include county court judgements, debt collecting agencies etc.I hope the above helps you but I STRONGLY suggest you go to; http://www.experian.co.uk/ or http://www.equifax.co.uk/Anything else you wanna know just holla
