Fallout 3

sh*t, 13 pages, I should check VIP2 more often. I've done over 200 hours on this game, never done that before. It's beaten what I put into Final Fantasy XII, which was 180.

I had the vanilla edition of this, bought Broken Steel, but then decided I wanted all the DLC so I sold the vanilla and bought the GOTY edition off GameStation's site for £20. You're right about it being buggy as f*ck, but it's still a sick game in general. On my second run, I was gonna be pure evil but you miss too much stuff by mugging everyone off and killing everyone I've still managed to stay Very Evil though, guess all of the theft adds up.

On my 3rd run I'm gonna switch it up just for trophies. Gonna put a f*ck load of points in charisma just for the sake of the speech challenges. Might have to take it off very hard if I do that though, it's quite hard in the beginning. Makes a change from having Fawkes though I guess.

Oh, and the Chinese Stealth Suit from the Operation: Anchorage DLC + Silent Running = super stealth. Unless you stick your head up a super mutant's arse no one will ever see you, even after smacking them round the head with a shishkebab. Makes things too easy, but oh well.

Ignore me if any of this has been said, I can't be arsed to read through 13 pages of text.

Cosign the chinese stealth armour. It's too sick. Once your crouched, nothing is seeing you.

Bussing 1 shot criticals from point blank range >

Also the Dart gun is underrated still.

Right now im tryna get all the bobbleheads. I've got all the s.p.e.c.i.a.l. ones, just need 5 or so of the skills ones. After that im gonna jump into the pitt.

75bags up atm. Deffo gonna hit 100 once ive finished the remaining dlc's.

I dunno if there's any truth in it, but people claim when you use energy guns and turn people to ash piles it clogs up game memory. I'm not sure if it's even logical (if it is, only in an area you are already in), but in this run I'm trying to avoid them just to see how it goes. I just remembered I completed The Pitt last time I played, the unique auto-axe + Chinese Stealth Suit + VATS stealth attack = dead enemies. Had a f*ck load of slowdown in The Pitt though, everyone else get the same problem? Mostly in the first town square area where people are cutting metal up.

Dart Gun is godly when it comes to things like Deathclaws, they don't even get close.

Anyone done the Gary 23 glitch in operation anchorage? The one that lets you bring infinite durability equipment back from the simulation to the real game. (edit: just clocked the last page, ShadyOne I take it you know Fallout 3 like the back of your hand)

WTF though, 64k cash? I got near 10k and thought it was overkill.

Nah, aint done the Gary 23 glitch. Don't think ive heard of it.

Yea im a vet, but only just started playing the game again. Alot of unfinished business.

I still need to do the pitt, point lookout and mothership zeta. Then get the remaining achievements. Then i might do an evil playthrough.

lol im on 75k now.

I take it your playing on PS3? I aint had any lag issues (that i can think of).

Shady when u go to do the mother ship make sure u bring 1 or 2 guns nuffin 2 weigh you down!!!

the amount of guns there is to take there is stupid and u can sell most of them for 500+ actually u dnt even need a gun

i just completed it recently with a weapon the aliens use called Shock Baton

It explains it here with a decent picture: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Operation:_Anchorage_bugs

I've had F3 for ages too, but it's such a long game with so much sh*t to do plus the different play styles you definitely get your money's worth. I must have done at least 95% of stuff in my first (good karma) run, probably won't do that in any other run though.

Yeah I'm PS3, it's a shame this came out when PS3 versions were a lot worse than they are now. I might have to wait until I get a decent PC when New Vegas comes out, some of the Fallout 3 mods look pretty good.
