I think weaves become a problem when it doesn't match the texture (and colour) of your own hair. If you ain't had a relaxer in 3months don't think you can get away with rocking european silky.

I'm hearing a lot of pain in that post Kurious. still, some of these so-called "hairdressers" shouldn't be allowed anywhere near people's head. I used to think you needed a some sort of beauty liscence to work in a salon but i think that only applies to white salons

/i cut my hair well short about a year ago, i was so pissed with it i considered gett extensions. i didnt tho cos i wanted it to grow back healthy and natural. its grown back slowly and thick. it will be back to normal soon. i havent done anything to my hair for months not even straighted it.i think weaves are cool if they look right, this girl i know has one i didnt even know until she told me. another mixed girl i know has the braids, she says it takes 4 hours! could never be me
