I c/s the iceland recommendations. But lidl will be even better tbh.Potatoes, eggs, corned beef, tuna, bread, milk, rice/pasta, tinned tomatoes, mixed veg and some cordial. One pack of economy chicken. £15 is not a bad budget for weekly food shopping if you are prepared to cook.

A really really budget meal is bangers and mash. With peas.Everyone has potatoes in their cupboard you just need to buy the sausages, that's 89p for 8, just use half the pack and buy a can of marrowfat peas for 11p. Them hostel time dinners. Fancy it now as it goes.
