Grime people came from Garage, Garage from Jungle, Jungle from House. UK Hip Hop guys came from their older brother playin them a KRS One record and the rest bein history. Tryna uphold the four pillars etc, relying on the white middle class crowd US Hip Hop had already conquered in the 80s and 90s.Grime has the streets.now these guys have the streets, and Hip Hop has never truly had the streets here imo. bravo to Giggs an dem lot.
