I think I get what you mean, I was actually on a betting site for time thinking is this possible..Say for Hatton V PacquiaoIf I dropped say for example 500 on Hatton to win, it would bring back say £3000then if I dropped (different site?) 500 on Pacquiao to win it would bring back around £1500so my investment of £1000 would be covered with either a £500 profit OR a £2000 profitis that what you mean?

Come across several arbitrage opportunities every day, not sure why any investor would want to pursue this strategy no skill involved whatsoever. Requires a large bank to make it worthwhile and its extremely tedious.

the reason is that no risk is involved and compared to standard interest rates you stand to make much higher returns, yes it can be tedious, but that's the price you are paying for no risk. you have to remember for stuff like stocks and shares which is more dynamic you stand the risk of losing your money.

not really what i'm describing to be honest. Its extremely unlikely that you'll get odds that will pay so well on a two horse race.

best way to do it first is theoretically without putting money down, so u can know what you're doing, before you actually commit any cash.Use oddschecker.com to find the best odds for an outcome, this is how you'll find out where to place your bet giving the highest return.To Lay/Sell a bet i use betfair, mainly because it's simple and has quite allot of people willing to put money down on your bet for decent odds.

you might aswell do four 50p accumlaters each with 12 different teams in them your pay out will be 500x what it would by sticking £2 on united to win although a lot more riskier but then again who can complain winning £500+ off 50p...

I second this. my boy that works in Coral does £1 accumulators with 8-10 bets involved, doesn't win often but wen he does it hits round a grand so easily covers cost. for a higher chance of winning, jus place less bets, but obviously u'll win less.
