i've never seen Barnett handled like that, i didn't even think it was possible, i'm still in a bit of shock tbh, not that Cromier won but in the manner he did,

some interesting fights for him in the UFC, will be interesting to see if Barnett can still find a way to get in there.

NickTheFace is too good. His promos are so much better than the official ones.

Quick UFC 146 breakdown.

JDS vs Frank Mir - When it was first announced, I thought it was a foregone conclusion, that JDS would make very quick work of Mir. Usually the case with most fights, when leading up to the bout, after watching primetime and interviews, you begin to believe that there might be a chance for the challenger. Not this time though. Mir will need to takedown JDS to launch his BJJ game, however dos Santos' TD defence is top notch and I don't see it happening. After that I can see Mir losing heart and getting leathered plenty times. Going to stick with my initial thoughts for this, JDS will TKO him early, I simply cannot see Mir hanging with such an elite striker of Junior's calibre.

Cain Velasquez vs Antonio Silva - On paper this really should follow suit to Cormier's fight with Bigfoot six or so months back. Cain & Cormier, are both very similar in their styles, a style which counter's Bigfoots. Although I wouldn't completely rule out Silva's chances, it is known that Cain doesn't have the strongest chin, there is the chance for Bigfoot to get the win.

Roy Nelson vs Dave Herman - This will be a very interesting fight. Roy "best chin in the UFC" Nelson takes on Peewee Herman, an unorthodox heavyweight to say the least. His fighting style to his fight preparation is completely out of the book. He hits hard, and I'm sure he will hit Nelson very hard, plenty of times, but when Roy is still standing in front of him, I have no idea what he will do. His cardio is questionable, and probably in the latter part of the fight, we will see Roy take the win. Should be a "slobber knocker".

Shane del Rosario vs Stipe Miocic - Debut fight for the former Strikeforce fighter, del Rosario, comes up against another rising potential heavyweight star. Both fighters hold undefeated records, however I think this will change for Miocic. Rosario is coming off a long layoff, in which he was hit by a drunk driver in a car accident, but I'm hoping he can overcome ring rust and all the other factors which come with being out of action for an extended period of time. A very talented fighter, very fun to watch.

Stefan Struve vs Lavar Johnson - Struve has improved leaps and bounds recently, and has a chance to re-visit a similar fight he had around this time last year. Johnson, like Browne (who defeated Struve), is big tall and very powerful. He will be looking to knock Stefan's head off his neck, like he has done with his last two UFC outings, with a first round knockout. Struve will need to take this fight to the ground ASAP to get the victory, somewhere Lavar Johnson isn't at his best. Its really hard to predict this fight, it really depends on how it goes down tonight, could easily go either way. I'd probably go with Lavar.

Shane del Rosario vs Stipe Miocic is the most interesting fight on the card, if Del Roasario isn't rusty, it'll go his way, if theres a hint of rust, Stipe will make it a very tough fight, dunno which way to go on this one,

Struve vs Johnson Johnson by KO, his got momentum, and tbh i don't really rate Struve that highly and he's far too chinny to be at Heavyweight and Johnson hits very hard ko in the 1st, if not Struve might have a chance, coz i get the feeling that Johnson may have cardio issues if he gets pushed too far.

Nelson Vs Herman, will be interesting to see Herman in terms of how he deals with Nelson coz Homer Simpson's a tough fighter, i can see this ending similarly to when Nelson fought Schaub. Nelson by ko in the 2nd or 3rd

Cain Vs Bigfoot, as you say, the Cormier blueprint is there, but i think Bigfoot will be more up for this one than he was the cromier fight, his spoken about how after he beat Fedor his goal was to fight in the UFC so i get the feeling he wasn't treating Cromier in with the respect he should've been and maybe was overlooking the fight a bit, Cain decision or 3rd round TKO

Jds vs Mir, its hard to guess how Mir should go at this, we all know what he should try to do, but his ego might dictate that he goes another direction, he#s spoken about how JDS wil slow down over the course of the fight, after watching how my man battered nelson, i think thats wishfull thinking, and i'd belive Mir will slow down more, needs to get the fight down, however Mir's got decent boxing and the threat of a takedown could play on JDS's mind, but anyway, 1st or 2nd round Ko

Dan Hardy FTW

Barboza vs Varner, exciting fight

Diego Brandao exciting

Miller vs Dollaway could be a case of 2 guys fighting to avoid ening up in the strikeforce wilderness, reckon it could be lively based on that, but im not holding my breath.

couple decent games on facebook as well.

very good card all round.

One of the best cards, agreed. Dan Hardy has been fed Ludwig, he really should have no problems taking him out.

Barboza is a free win. Kind of feel sorry for Varner, he finally gets into the UFC and they give him a monster. f*ck Mayhem Miller, that guy is all talk, he is an awful MMA fighter.

FoTN, I think, will be Kingsbury vs Teixeira.
