i was thinking the following producers should have made it further in the scene than they did... (or did they)Scratchy (of roll deep)Hennesey (Forward Riddim)FlukesDavinche ??and Maniac lol

Flukes was a pretty swag grime producer bar 1 or 2 tunes tbh. He's on funky now tho, part of crazy cousins i think?Silkie should of got somewhere better, no help or handouts = top 3 grime instrumentals ever.

Davinche was basically THE top producer before he jumped out the scene, still makes a bit of grime but not that much. Flukes only made them soft sounding tunes but that sound has since passed, he made Hood Economics which was quite good though. Both make funky now but I think it's more of a full time thing for Flukes (think Davinche makes more Rap/RnB.Maniac is bringing out a instrumental CD if he busses case (which he will apparently).Hennessey didn't make Forward Riddim, Dexplicit did. Scratchy's beats aren't spesh.

lol thats a good one!!!well i think wiley did, bless beats had a chart topper, and i think dizzee could have produced some of his well known tunes from his last album i.e old skool?(or so i hear) nocturnal looks to be heading in the right direction. i dont know what happened to Skitz Beats as for Skepta we just have to wait and see how sunglasses at night does

Bless Beats has made a #2 hit. You could say he's the only real guy who's "made it" but I'm pretty sure in the electro/dance scene the producers are the people with their names in the title so I dunno if you could say he made it or not.But there's no such thing as "making it" in the grime scene unless you leave the scene.

ye i cant see what the definition of making it in grime is. a select few you could say sorta did.a lot of those who disappeared are gettin better success in other scenes.
