Action Dan
Who plays?I'm a vet, been playing for 7 years still but had quite a break and got back in to it in the last week.Played last night at the No Limit Holdem cash table, .25/.50c table. Sat down with $40 and managed to get it up to $250 in 3 hours, which was nice.I play on VC Poker btw.
Meticulous
I can play but I want you to teach me your expertise n/hUsed to play on FT but was sh*t. Played in casino a couple nights and doubled up to 140 the first night, then went from 70 to 270 the other, only because everyone scared of my image and I abused itWe dont play home games no more cos nobody takes them seriously

Dubby
I'm sh*t at online games, but half the time I'll win against my friends when we play around a table.

Action Dan
Swear Gutshot's closed now?@ Matistuta its not anything specific still, I remember you recommending me some books but I find it hard to focus readingNeed to read up & clean upIt's moved to Old Kent Road...Definitely read books.By the way, sit at the cash tables after 11pm on bookmaker poker sites and boy, the amount of seemingly drunk and sh*t players who sit down is unbelievable. Simply sit there and wait to hit a monster hand and take their whole stack... done it 3 times last night. Two hands running at 1:30am..1st hand.Me QJ offsuit. On the button so call .50c, don't want to raise here as want a flop. Small blind and Big Blind call and check.FlopQc-J-c-5dPlayer A bets $1, Player B raises to $3, I reraise to $6, player A folds and B calls.TurnQh Player A checks and so do I as I want him to hit his straight or flush...RiverAce of diamonds.Player A bets $20, I reraise to $60 putting him all in.He calls and shows the straight That will teach him to chase a draw when the board has paired (an elementary mistake).Very next hand I'm on the big blind with 8h8c. Small blind calls and I check.Flop8s-3-h-JdI check, he bets $4, I call.TurnJhI'm now praying he's hit trips cos I've got him beat so I bet out $8 trying to get him reraise. He duly obliges and I reraise all in for his whole $60 stack. He calls and shows J-5 and doesn't hit a J or 5 and I win.Beautiful tbh. UN.Muzik
I was fully on dis ting Pokerwise around last year and during term time I stopped playingSince the summer however I'm back and I've been merking the Empire 20 quid + rebuy tourneys on Saturday/Sunday afternoons, so much so that I was 2nd on the month's leaderboards (pissed cuz I proly would have come 1st if I'd have played one more tournament and cashed)1st place on the leaderboards gets a 1000 quid ticket into an 18 player satellite where the winner gets an entry into the WSOPE in October, and that buy-in is closer to 5 grand with like 5-6 figure prize money I recommend people playing at the Empire, FULL of fish with waay more money than sense..play monsters and you have no problems
