You lot have suddenly turned proper rich. Anyone getting annoyed in who you lot are buying though?

Carrol 35 Mil

Henderson 20 mil

Downing 15-20 mil

Adam 10-12 mil

We have been lucky if they are your buys because if you used that money a bit more wisely for example suarez, you could have left us when it came to challenging for the top 4. I still think Liverpool have that pulling power to get european names, not sure about world class but still enough to get top players that are around Europe.

That's a lot of money to be spending on British

Lol, two of those signings haven't even been made and are paper speculation.

Think I will judge our spending once the window has closed.

I mean some say Downing supposedly isn't first choice, but we shall see

And no one from our management or commoli have spoke about our targets. Just doing it on the low, another reason to wait before the money spent is judged.

We basically got Carroll and Suarez for Torres and Babel £56 million brought in £57 million spent which in a sense is good business but ideally we'd have waited and spent £35 million much more wisely imo.

Carroll doesn't fit in with the system we've looked best playing under Kenny which is pass and move with our front line being interchangeable, I hope he does well but I'm intrigued to see how he's going to be integrated.

Henderson was £16 million and again I'd have much preferred us to have spent it elsewhere although I suppose that's the price you pay for British talent.

If we pay £12 million for Adam, see the above and add to that I'd much rather we'd have brought Aquilani back.

Downing wants to go to you lot which is a blessing imo.

Henderson is a young David Beckham in the sense of hes a disciplined and healthy footballer. He might not produce much in the near future but working with Kenny who signed Barnes will improve his game 10 fold and I expect him to become a right midfielder that replaces Kuyt on the right side with Maxi leaving I'm happy with this signing.

Downing I could understand if we weren't looking at Adam already  . A player that doesn't really add any pace or trickery on the left. Which is what is needed for Suarez and Carroll to flurish. Thats why I would be resigned to another season in Europa if Downing was our major singing on the left. Would prefer to apply for work permit so we can resign Sebastian Leto. He at least offers some urgency something Downing hasn't had since he came on the scene as a Boro younger.

Basically our next signing should be

Wickham

Mata

Matuidi

Dann

Izzaguire

Back up keeper

They seem to be linking us with bare english shite. We have to fill in a few positions in the team so I say spend in the continent and bring in some young players with hunger and potential.

See, signings nobody is expecting

C Zapata: "At the moment I am very close to Liverpool, but I will wait til after the Copa America." #LFC

Christian Zapata has said shite like this before, if we sign the fee will be upwards of 17 million, and if were not willing to splash that out on Cahill, what makes you think we will splash it out on Zapata, who would also be chased by top Serie A teams.

Reality check= He will stay in Italy

And we will go out and buy Dann.
