Why have Celtic sold McDonald to Boro?

First thing that came into my mind when i saw this.....Stupid move for Mcdonald, hes much better than Boro!

Probably feels its his best way to the prem not this season, next season maybe. He could have made the jump straight to prem and flopped ard. Championship first off is a good test

Why have Celtic sold McDonald to Boro?

Seems like Mowbray just didn't fancy him much. I've heard rumours about him being a disruptive influence in the dressing room and stuff too, but I dunno how true all that is.It seemed like he was gradually becoming a back-up player, so for us to get £3.5m for him is decent business.I hope he does well down there.
