Champions League Draw

Recommended Posts

The draw for the Quarter-Finals takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland at 11am (UK time) on Friday.

The draw for the Semi-Finals also takes place on Friday, so the road to Madrid is mapped out.

There is no 'country protection' at this stage.

Arsenal (England)

FC Barcelona (Spain)

Bayern Munich (Germany)

FC Girondins de Bordeaux (France)

CSKA Moscow (Russia)

Inter Milan (Italy)

Olympique Lyonnais (France)

Manchester United (England)

The first legs scheduled for 30 and 31 March and the return matches the following week, on 6 and 7 April. The four victorious teams will at this point know their semi-final opponents. The first legs of the last-four ties will be contested on 20 and 21 April, with the second legs on 27 April and 28 April.

An additional draw will define whether the winner of semi-final 1 or the winner of semi-final 2 will be considered, for administrative purposes, the home side in the final, which will take place on Saturday 22 May at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Both club competition draws will be transmitted live on UEFA.com and Eurosport.

Just looked at Arsenal's fixture list, part me thinks we should want Tottenham to make the FA Cup semi-final as it means our game goes back and we get a longer break from the 2nd leg of the Quarters to Tottenham away.

Europa League

Hamburger SV

Club Atlético de Madrid

Fulham FC

Liverpool FC

R. Standard de Liège

SL Benfica

Valencia CF

VfL Wolfsburg

Hamburger SV can still dream of winning the inaugural UEFA Europa League on home territory as they are among the eight teams in the draw for the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals and semi-finals on Friday.

At this stage of the tournament, no teams are seeded and clubs from the same national association can be drawn against each other. The quarter-finals are played on a home-and-away basis on 1 and 8 April, with the semi-finals on 22 and 29 April. This season's final will be at the Hamburg Arena on Wednesday 12 May.
