i actually go to united games and although rooney has always been sick. he has levelled up. Rooneys main criticism over the years has been hes sick but he still goes on spurts where he'll score 8 in 6 and then 0 in 5. Or hes a good player but you cant count on him to bag 30 in a season and thats what you need from a striker. This season hes added elements to his game that have allowed him to do exactly what most people said he couldnt. (be relied on as a guy who's gonna bang goals regardless and play sick regardless) Hes reaching that consistency henry had in his peak arsenal years where he could be relied upon by his teammates and the fans to deliver.

fabregas also was always sick but IMO this year hes taken it to a new level.
